Should I charter a motor yacht or sailing yacht?

Answer

The choice between a motor yacht and sailing yacht is primarily about the experience you want.

A motor yacht generally offers greater speed, substantial interior and exterior living areas, and the ability to cover larger distances relatively efficiently. This can be useful where you want to visit several destinations during a shorter charter.

A sailing yacht offers a different experience, particularly when sailing itself is part of the attraction. Guests may enjoy the quieter experience under sail, connection with the sea and the character of a sailing yacht.

Modern sailing yachts can also offer substantial comfort and luxury, while some large sailing yachts provide amenities comparable with motor yachts.
