Can I have a massage, spa treatment or beauty treatment on a yacht?

Answer

Some yachts have dedicated spa or wellness facilities, while others can arrange visiting therapists or beauty professionals depending on the destination.

Facilities vary considerably and can include massage areas, saunas, steam rooms, treatment rooms, gyms and other wellness features.

External therapists may need to be arranged in advance.

Analysis

A yacht advertised with “spa facilities” may offer anything from a dedicated treatment room to a massage area with basic equipment. The actual facilities should therefore be checked against what guests want.

Broker’s advice

If wellness is important to your group, tell us exactly what you mean by “spa.” We can distinguish between a yacht with a full wellness centre and one that simply has space for a visiting therapist.
