How many cabins do I need for a yacht charter?

Answer

The number of cabins you need depends on your group composition and how you want to live aboard, rather than simply the number of guests.

For example, a group of eight may prefer four cabins, while another group of eight may want five cabins to provide refers to how many guests the available cabins can physically accommodate and how those guests be advertised for a particular number of guests but have a cabin configuration that makes it more comfortable for a smaller additional privacy.

Before selecting a yacht, consider: –

Number of couples –

Children and their ages –

Whether children can share cabins –

Whether anyone requires a particular bed arrangement –

Whether guests need private cabins –

Whether a crew cabin is separate from guest accommodation –

Whether VIP or master-suite accommodation matters

The cabin layout can be just as important as the yacht's headline guest capacity. Broker perspective

For families and mixed groups, we recommend looking at the actual cabin plan and sleeping arrangements, not simply the yacht's advertised guest number.
