Can different brokers quote different prices for the same yacht?

Answer

The underlying charter rate for the same yacht, dates and contractual terms should generally be consistent within the professional charter market, but quotations can appear different because of taxes, inclusions, currency, additional services, promotions, commissions or different assumptions about expenses.

The quoted dates, cruising area, contract terms and inclusions should therefore be compared carefully.

Analysis

A lower-looking headline price does not necessarily represent a lower total cost. Conversely, a higher quote may include items that another quotation excludes.

The most meaningful comparison is between equivalent contractual packages.
