One of the most exciting superyachts on the world charter market with some exceptional features and contemporary design.

SUPERYACHT SOLO

The award-winning luxury charter yacht from Tankoa

Exclusive parties, extraordinary events and days spent blissfully outstretched across golden sand beaches are what characterises the Mediterranean luxury yacht charter season in the summer and the Caribbean winter charter season, and award-winning 72m/263ft superyacht SOLO from Tankoa Yachts fits perfectly into this scene with an abundance of features and luxury amenities to entertain guests of all ages and interests.

luxury superyacht SOLO

Built by Tankoa Yachts in 2018, M/Y SOLO has an excellent pedigree and is the result of several prominent designers and the expert naval architects at Studio Ruggiero. She hosts up to 150 guests at quayside events and sleeps up to 12 guests across six en-suite cabins while cruising.

Regardless of whether you intend to go full capacity or keep you holiday private and personal, there is wheelchair access and a lift (elevator) to ensure that every member of the family is included in activities.

Few superyachts for charter can claim to have such a talented and large crew, and SOLO's highly experienced and qualified crew of 18 includes a masseuse, personal trainer, Dive Master, jet ski instructor and kite surf instructor.

With such amenities as a swimming pool, Jacuzzis, a hammam, sauna, gym, massage room, indoor and outdoor wet bars and a helipad that can be used as a dance floor, superyacht SOLO lets its charter guests take control and host their own glamorous special occasion or indulge in the ultimate family vacation.

Indoor entertainment

The sensuous interiors are designed from Margherita Casprini in conjunction with Francesco Paszkowski for excellent flow between the inner and outer areas, and a monochromatic theme plays with matte and gloss surfaces contrasting with ruffled curtains and brilliant accents in teal and orange.

One of the most impressive areas is the open-plan salon, where the aft interior blends away to a winter garden which offers excellent privacy due to the side-opening sliding door. A wet bar and plush curving seating to starboard creates a marvellously chic and casual space for conversation filled with plants, while the main salon has understated opulence in its thinly-veined Cappuccino marble contrasted by Macassar ebony and a tawny-white floor rug. The plush elongated sofa to starboard is perfect for relaxing with the family while watching a film on the widescreen TV, and the grand glass oval formal dining table will impress for any occasion, creating an intimate environment between diners with a choice of lighting that can be muted to the occasion.

Geometric sculptures such as the gold-covered table piece and contemporary paintings are interspersed throughout the environment to draw the eye with intriguing and harmonious points of interest, among which should also be counted the well-maintained aquarium.

The skylounge on the bridge deck is designed for an evening of entertaining: Deep sofa beds, an electric fireplace and a wall-mounted 90" 4K OLED television are perfect for an evening of rest after a busy day touring museums, galleries and heritage sites. A wet bar and grand piano are optimally placed near the doors to the alfresco dining area on the bridge deck aft for entertainment and refreshments inside or out.

Outdoor enjoyments

Francesco Paszkowski is known for his numerous award-winning designs, and it was his studio that was behind the svelte styling of M/Y SOLO in conjunction with naval architects Studio Ruggiero.

Family Yacht Charters on Board

The fuel-efficient hull design along with her powerful twin Caterpillar 3516 B DITA-SCAC HD engines has won her a RINA Green Star Plus Platinum Award, and her outward appearance is just as impressive as her credentials, combining traditional heritage with angles that sweep down the decks to provide greater guest privacy while outdoors, while cut-out bulwark sections ensure that guests have uninterrupted views from the interior lounges.

From the beach club to the sundeck there is an abundance of seating for any charter group to relax and take in panoramic seascapes.

The beach club enjoys a fantastic sunning spot in the deep swim platform, where guests can nap beside the water or sit with a cocktail and watch the fish swim through the glassy waters of the Eastern Mediterranean. However, it is the main deck aft that commands your attention after stepping aboard, offering as it does a spectacular glass-sided 6m/20ft swimming pool to the stern and a captivating outdoor lounge where deep armchairs, large sofas and plenty of drinks tables will see use at any time of the day, for any occasion.

From here there is the option to part the port glass sliding doors and enter the air conditioned winter garden and main salon, or head up the stairway to the elegant alfresco dining area laid out on the bridge deck aft. The position of the staircase and sliding doors is a small but important break from convention that allows for optimal arrangement of the outdoor furnishings instead of consideration given to keeping this widest area clear for foot traffic.

The bridge deck revels in its elegant symmetry to create an enchanting setting for an evening meal, the centrepiece of which is the sizeable alfresco dining table to seat 12 guests. Forward of the table, Chaise-loungers give guests a place to stretch out in style after a hearty meal, or to continue the conversation over among sparkling city lights on the sofa/sunpads along the stern. A
Portuguese desk is sure to see use as an intimate area for conversation and drinks, especially during a special dockside event when up to 150 guests might be in attendance.

On the upper deck aft, the helipad can be transformed into a dance floor to ensure that all space is efficiently used, and a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunbeds, a curving bar and shaded seating placed close to the entrance into the skylounge.

Meanwhile, the upper deck forward is a private area attached to the Master suite, and its occupants can enjoy a tranquil afternoon on the sunbeds or a romantic nightcap in the Jacuzzi beneath the stars.

After a magnificent party, guests can spend the day in serenity savouring the sunlight and elevated views from the sundeck, which is fitted with two large sunbeds and a sofa wrapping around a coffee table.

On Board Massage

Spa and wellness

Guests looking to spend a week-long charter or longer on some rest and recuperation will have an abundance of treatments at their fingertips, including a Calcutta marble hammam and sauna boasting a foredeck terrace opposite a gym that has a chilled shower and a fold down terrace for an open-air workout.

The spa massage room on the bridge deck is wonderfully serene away from the engine room and all other distractions, and the expert on board masseuse will remove knots and ease tired muscles for a restful night of sleep.

Accommodation

The accommodation is generous for all guests and places a Master suite on the upper deck forward for guests to wake up to fantastic 180° views. In addition to an office, walk-in wardrobe, two daybeds and a skylight there is the aforementioned secluded terrace dedicated to the occupants, with an outdoor Jacuzzi and sunbeds.

The VIP stateroom, two double cabins and two twin cabins occupy the main deck and each has an ample en-suite bathroom and the same luxurious monochrome colour scheme to be found in the salons and the Master suite.

Water toys

Having only been launched in 2018, motor yacht SOLO has the very latest water toys on board and the selection is comprehensive enough to cover the interests of everyone in the group:
  • Adrenaline seekers have three Yamaha jet skis and Seabobs aboard this Approved RYA Water Sports Centre, in addition to a jet surf, wakeboard and water skis. Experienced and beginner Scuba divers can take to the water with the Dive master on board to ensure that everyone has a safe and incredible experience at some of the world's best dive sites.
  • Children will be entertained every day with the numerous inflatable and towable toys, including the Sport Blob catapult trampoline, a floating pool with a jellyfish net and kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling gear.
