 SUPERYACHT HARLE REVIEWED

Engineered, designed and built by Feadship, HARLE is a 45m (146ft) ocean going superyacht. With its superb layout, she offers a haven of relaxation for up to 12 yacht charterers. There’s a splendid master state room and five guest rooms on the main deck which allow guests the flexibility they often need when cruising. Harle’s inviting interiors were designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design.

Huge windows create harmonious ambience between the interior and exterior as well as functionality. Wherever your destination you can be sure of a comfortable, safe and luxurious cruising experience. This is one very popular yacht with four different interior design themes, one of which is based on the Art Deco era. Her beach house look has a minimalistic environment with all areas having furniture and furnishings that are multi-functional.

Mahogany and maple panelling featured throughout the interior give off a smooth, delightful look. There are no lamps, no clutter and no sharp edges anywhere on board. The main saloon is the only space that has curtains and all walls are devoid of any paintings. That said, over 8,000 paintings by Picasso, Van Gogh and Monet provide a back-drop which changes regularly. The paintings are displayed on HD television screens which provide an interesting feature!

WAKING UP TO BEAUTIFUL VIEWS

On the main deck is a master suite and four guest state rooms where guests can wake up to beautiful views. These cabins replace a dining area that wasn’t used much on the main deck. The four guest cabins have three huge floor-to-ceiling windows making the interior bright and airy. These rooms can also be converted from twins to a doubles.

Behind double vaulted doors in the master suite, is the main deck forward. This suite stretches across the entire deck and also has full-length windows. There’s a large skylight which offers even more natural light. The retractable head board can be lowered to reveal a circular whirlpool bath, big enough for six people. This is situated under the skylight and is one of the on board’s ultimate spa experiences.

The bridge deck has a beach house style design with a floor made of soft teak and side windows that slide open. Wide glass doors can be folded away to link the inside and outside areas. This beautiful deck serves as another entertainment area and has modular furniture from the Californian company Summit. An additional dining area is also located here.

Tables, loungers and comfortable chairs can be arranged to suit any activity whether it’s a formal dinner, a party or a movie night. Harle is the ideal superyacht for corporate yacht charters and she has often been seen at the Monaco Grand Prix. A sixth state room can be converted from the full-beam office on the bridge deck with a privacy wall, en suite bathroom and a Murphy bed.

VAST EXTERIOR AREAS

The massive sun deck provides superb outdoor living with its Jacuzzi forward, sun pads and magnificent ocean views. Aft, there are a number of chaise loungers for sun worshippers while an al fresco dining area can seat up to twelve guests under the radar arch. A HD TV screen, retractable awning and a phoenix motif etched into the teak floor finish off this area to perfection.

A lazarette (the rear part of a ship's hold, used for stores) is also situated here. When the water toys are removed, this area can be used as a fitness studio or just for lounging and chilling out. The swim platform transforms into a private beach club where guests can unwind, dive into the warm water or try one of the many water sports on offer.

UNFORGETTABLE DINING EXPERIENCE

Dining is always a highlight of any vacation and when on board a superyacht like Harle, you won’t be disappointed. Menus can feature anything from succulent seared tuna, diced soy sauce jelly and wasabi mayonnaise for starters. The main course could be fillet of red snapper with pea puree, potato scales and roasted garlic. Dessert concludes the meal with chocolate mousse, fresh fruit minestrone or tiramisu. Sounds absolutely delicious!

The chef on board Harle is imaginative, creative and prepares unforgettable dishes that suit your taste and request. Credit must also be given to the team of stewards who present immaculate table settings, fit for a king or a queen.
