April 28 brought very difficult weather conditions for sailors competing in the 2012 Yachting World Round Antigua Race. Due to strong winds, there were several retirements, including Allyn Salomon's Beneteau Oceanis 473 sailing yacht Hermosita as well as South African Jan Rupert entry, Tripp 75 Blackbird yacht.
