Epidavros Yacht Charter Guide

The town of Epidavros is located within the municipality of Epidaurus, close to Nafplion. This site has a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list and has now been recognised as a magnificent place to include on your yacht charter itinerary.

A popular destination, Epidavros offers an impressive amphitheatre where plays and operas were staged. Each summer the amphitheatre comes to life during the exciting Hellenic Festival. In July and August, on Fridays and Saturdays the arena is absolutely jam-packed with people who watch modern re-enactments of many classical Greek dramas. It’s definitely an unmissable occasion for yacht charterers.

With its pine-clad hills, quirky villages, orange and olive groves, Epidavros really is a sight to behold. Walk to the Mycenaean burial monuments or to the top of Katarahi to see the stunning Temple of Artemis. After a few hours of exploring, head to one of the beaches for a cool swim. Kalamaki beach which can be found in the Epidavros Bay, is ideal if you’re looking for seclusion.
