Another elegant yacht viewed at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show was the 41 metre OKKO superyacht built by the prestigious Italian luxury yacht builder Mondo Marine, with exterior lines and interior decor by Giorgio Vafiadis. Stepping aboard OKKO one immediately notices the superb craftsmanship reflected both on the interior as well as around the exterior areas. The vessel’s style can be described sober and elegant, with immaculate attention to detail. Motor Yacht OKKO is the 61st vessel launched from the Savona based shipyard and, just like the rest of the yachts, she was 100% custom made.

Entirely built in aluminium, she stretches 40.80 metres in length and 8.10 metres abeam. OKKO stands out of the 41 m three-deck series mainly thanks to her superstructure design and exterior lines featuring distinctly large windows. Motor yacht OKKO’s contemporary classic interior design essentially draws from the aim of giving a continuity and chromatic flow all through her various zones. In order to reach such effect, a key role has been assigned to harmonious lights play and careful choice of materials like the distinguishing ‘frakè’ wood, where each sheet was scrupulously selected and its grain painstakingly arranged so to reach the most homogeneous effect as possible.
