Launched earlier this year, the 55.5m/182ft DAMEN yacht support vessel POWER PLAY has now been delivered to her owner after completing sea trials. The vessel debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 where DAMEN shipyard announced the construction of another yacht support vessel YS 4508

DAMEN support vessels are designed with outstanding carrying capabilities, making them perfect for remote cruising and expeditions both as a stand-alone yacht or a shadow vessel of a luxury superyacht. During sea trails POWER PLAY  carried a 15m DAMEN Interceptor on the aft deck, and still had plenty of room on the 240 sqm deck for tenders, water toys and submersibles. The 50 sqm adventure centre aft of the support vessel can be used as a beach club or dive centre. POWER PLAY can accommodate six guests in three cabins and a crew of eleven.

Yacht support vessel YS 4508 measures 45.60m/150ft and features the improved design of guest living spaces. Thus, the sun deck of 28 sqm is ideal for sunbathing and worshipping the sun, and when not in use can serve as a room to carry jetskis and water toys. This vessel features zero-speed stabilisers, reduce noise and vibrations, as well as fantastic maneuvrability. YS 4508 will have 3 generator sets with automated power management, 75 kVa shorepower converter for global use, dedicated petrol store, 20,000 litres fresh water tanks, watermaker with a capacity of 4,300 per day and waste water tanks of 15,000 litres.

The seventh vessel in the Yacht Support YS 5009 series is also underway and scheduled for delivery in summer 2019.
