Dutch shipyard DAMEN has announced the launched of its latest yacht support vessel, built under the project number YS 4508 and named JOY RIDER. Belonging to the DAMEN Yacht Support range, the vessel measures 46m (151ft) and is currently available for immediate delivery in September. She will be also on show at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show to be held from 25ht till 28th September 2019.

JOY RIDER is ideal for those looking for adventure and wants to explore distant and remote parts of the world, as well as underwater life and amazing wildlife. The yacht is able to carry plenty of water toys and features great deck areas with flexible accommodation. One of the main features is her high-performance 6.7-tonne deck crane, making use of aft deck space for tenders and toys.

Her exterior lines are powerful yet stylish, while her yachting platform includes wet exhaust for all engines, smooth power management, generators in sound enclosures, fan coil—based HVAC system, water maker and large tank capacities. She is also well-equipped for the storage of provisions for long voyages, both cool and freeze, in addition to petrol storage and other multifunctional storage. She is reliable and economical to maintain.

JOY RIDER joins the ‘team’ of 15 DAMEN Yacht Support vessels of up to 71.5m (235ft) launched by the shipyard to date.
