Francesco Paszkowski-designed luxury yacht SOLO (also known as HULL S701) is nearing completion at the Tankoa shipyard in Genoa. She will be launched in late July and will undergo sea trials before making her public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this year in late September.

Luxury yacht SOLO is built with an impressive number of features aboard, including a cinema, sauna and hammam, a massage room, swimming pool, Owner’s Jacuzzi and a helipad.

Currently, the main deck aft pool and Owner’s deck Jacuzzi are fully operational and with most of the exterior work completed efforts are turning towards fitting the upper deck, which contains a wheelhouse, radio room, captain’s cabin, massage room and the upper deck salon. New regulations come into force on the 18th of July and M/Y SOLO will be ECDIS compliant with a ‘Paperless Bridge’.

Although SOLO shares similarities to 2015-launched 69m/226ft motor yacht SUERTE, the latest vessel from Tankoa has underwater exhausts, creating more space for facilities and increased volume across all decks.

The winter garden and aft decks have been extended in size for a volume greater than 1,600 GRT. The bulwarks have glass sections for uninterrupted sea views and a wider beam on the upper deck results in a larger observation salon. Her longer waterline also creates a higher maximum speed over 17.5 knots.

Her accommodation provide for up to 12 guests across six cabins, with the Master suite placed on the Owner’s deck and a VIP stateroom, two double cabins and two twin cabins on the main deck. The combined hair salon and massage room and the Owner’s study can be converted into additional cabins as all rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

The Owner’s apartment contains a media room that can be converted into an additional cabin and the island bed has floor-to-ceiling windows for 180° views.

The aft of the Owner’s deck also has an observation lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, a 90″ 4K QLED TV screen, baby grand piano, a bar and a fireplace, with direct access to the touch-and-go helipad deck that also provides a Jacuzzi, breakfast bar, alfresco lounge and a day head with shower.

The beach club on the lower deck provides a sofa, TV, bar and glass-walled gym with a fold-out terrace, a sauna also with a fold-out terrace, a hammam and a bathroom. Two alfresco salons, sheltered sunpads and a Jacuzzi with a sky shower add even more private benefits to guests occupying this suite.

The foredeck and the twin side-loading garage on the lower deck stores the tenders and the water toys, with room for two 7.5m/25ft tenders, a rescue boat and PWCs. The under-lower deck is dedicated to facilities such as the laundry room, pump room, storage, fridge and freezer, garbage treatment and cold room as well as technical spaces. The on board layout allows the crew to move freely without using guest corridors, ensuring maximum privacy.

Superyacht SOLO will be available for charter and features elegant contemporary decor with a warm colour scheme from Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini.

SOLO will see her premiere at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show in September.
