Cruising Itinerary for Indonesia

Why choose the Indonesian cruising grounds?

An Indonesian luxury yacht charter is not to be missed by those serious about water toys and wildlife encounters as it is a diving and snorkelling haven like no other for families of all ages. Some of the world's top dive sites are situated in this region, boasting species of all shapes and sizes as well as awe-inspiring coral reefs made up of corals just as diverse as the species that inhabit and visit. Witness manta ray and turtle cleaning station in action, dive among unusual nudibranchs and delicate sea horses and then unwind on board while your expert chef prepares a sumptuous meal that caters to everyone's dietary preferences.

Whether you choose a sailing yacht or motor yacht to cruise through this magnificent region, you'll have the chance to rest and spend time on personal pursuits, celebrate a special occasion and leave all the details to your professional crew.

Spend time on land sampling mouth-watering local cuisine and learning more about the island geography and history with guided tours.

Explore in depth above and below the water the Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site home to the endemic Komodo dragons and end each watching a magnificent sunset over uninhabited isles.

Day 1: Sangeang

Begin your cruise to the beautiful blue waters of Sangeang within the Lesser Sunda Island group and get up close to the magnificent island volcanoes, the taller and more active one last erupting in 2015. The fertile soils are used by local farmers on the south western side, however the rest of the island is deserted for you to choose a beautiful black sand beach. Hidden lava creates a few hot patches in the sand that are best avoided, however in the water the snorkelling and Scuba diving is sublime: geothermal vents surround onlookers with bubbles as they encounter large and vibrant sea creatures around the pastel-coloured reefs.

Use your Seabobs, water slide and towable toys to your heart's content, then rest on your sunbeds while your professional on board chef creates a mouth-watering three course meal for dinner.
