YACHT CHARTER UPDATE JAN 2007

HAPPY NEW YEAR From The CharterWorld Team!

Thanks for your support throughout 2006!

It has been an incredible record breaking year for CharterWorld.

We are all looking forward to continuing our phenomenal growth in 2007 and further developing our unsurpassed client service and support.   Our client loyalty has been inspiring - and we intend to keep it that way!

This year you will find our Charter Manager, Reia Stannard, permanently based in the new Europe office. Reia will be available to offer even more efficient service for our northern hemisphere clients and hopefully this year will even get the chance to meet a few more of you in person. Chelsea Somerville-Smith will remain manager of our New Zealand office. Between the full CharterWorld team, we can continue to offer service around the clock!

Christmas & New Year in the Caribbean

The Caribbean Christmas charters have been very successful and a large CharterWorld fleet enjoyed the New Year’s fireworks from Bequia to the BVI’s!  But for those of you who are still yet to escape winter, you’d be very interested in these yachts which are still available for last minute charters in the Caribbean.

Here’s a quick look at the upcoming highlights for 2007:

Looking for new and interesting charter locations? So are many others it seems! The past few years has shown a marked increase in the number of luxury yachts cruising to far and distant places.   The Indian Ocean and South East Asia have been very popular this winter for exotic getaways. Australia and New Zealand have also been busy with visiting luxury yachts. These areas offer a unique adventure – spectacular cruising, interesting culture, world-class diving and first class service. If you’re interested in these exotic locations, you can find available yachts in exotic places, right here.

This 2007 summer the trend for the exotic continues with many yachts planning their summer in the South Pacific.   Imagine the unsurpassed beauty of Tahiti, sensational diving in Fiji, swimming with whales in Tonga…. Here are some yachts which are planning to be in the South Pacific this summer.

The Cricket World Cup is set to be a huge Caribbean event with supporters coming from as far and wide as England and Australia. Fortunately, both of these countries are great sea-faring nations and many have taken this unique opportunity to combine world-class Cricket with a once in a lifetime cruising experience. We’ve found that whist keeping a perfectly relaxing itinerary we can include most games in St Kitts & Nevis, Antigua & Barbuda, Grenada and the semi-final in St Lucia. We may even be able to squeeze in the final in Barbados – depending on the cruising capabilities of your yacht.    Whilst many yachts are already booked, there are still a handful of notable availabilities so please let us know if you are interested and we will do our best to quickly put together a great package for you.

The Mediterranean Summer is shaping up to be another huge season and we are already seeing strong demand for yachts in July, August and September. Many of you now realize that you need to book early to secure your ideal yacht in your ideal location. Fortunately, there are more and more great new yachts being built and our staff stay up-to-date with the latest news in the yachting industry. Nevertheless, the newest and biggest isn’t always the best and we continue to work hard to match each client with the best yacht and crew for their personal preferences.

The HOT SPOTS for Summer 2007

Croatia is once again highly in demand as more and more people discover the joy of unspoilt civilization and the beauty of hundreds of islands at their passerale, so to speak. In saying that, the old Western Med' favorites such as the Cote D’Azur, Amalfi Coast, Sardinia, Corsica and Sicily still prove to be the most popular cruising grounds overall.

The Americas Cup in Valencia is one event of particular significance in 2007. Unfortunately the authorities have left a lot to the last minute and we expect a landslide of last minute enquiries from those wishing to experience the Cup, be they private or corporate charterers. For now, here are some yachts which already have secured berths in the Valencia Marina as well as experienced America’s Cup crew.   We advise to enquire now for this rare opportunity!

The Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival continue to be well supported and early enquiries also bear the best results for these events.

All the best for 2007!

We look forward to speaking with you soon and assisting with your next luxury yachting adventure!
