Booking Procedure for Crewed Yacht Charters

Our booking procedure is relatively quick, efficient and painless. Below is an outline of the easy steps to booking your crewed yacht charter.

First you need to find the yacht charter you are after. You can easily do this using our worldwide comprehensive search and selecting crewed or bareboat yacht charters in our yacht charter search. Once you have seen the yacht charter you like, and have had a look at its pictures and details, use the request a booking link to book that yacht.

If you do not find the right charter after using the search, or would rather receive some individual service, thats no problem. We can find and organize any charter boat in the world, at the best price. Just contact us, let us know what you are looking for, and we will personally find you the best charter.

Next, we will discuss with you the locations and the terms the yacht operates under. At this stage we may also mention any other current specials or interesting locations you might want to know about. Our job is to find you the best.

You will be sent a charter agreement detailing your charter yacht, the dates of the charter, and the cruising location and costs. Upon reading and signing the agreement the first payment (usually 50% of the full price) is due. The account and payment instructions will be sent with the agreement.

We then forward the agreement to the charter yacht owners for their signature and send it to you again to retain for your information. We will also send you a more detailed preference form questionnaire to fill out so that we can organize your travel arrangements, special requirements, likes and dislikes.

After we have discussed your preference details we will forward instructions to the captain and crew so that they can prepare everything for your arrival. Preparations may include pre-ordering berths, provisioning food or planning for a special event, such as a birthday. The balance of funds, along with any security deposit, is normally due one month before the charter commences. Payment details may change depending on the contracts used and you will be made aware of each individual policy and process.

At this point the booking process is finished; you can start looking forward to your yacht charter vacation. Your CharterWorld broker will remain on hand to answer any questions prior, during and at the end of your charter.
