Italy, Croatia, Greece, Corsica Yacht Charter itinerary.

This charter itinerary was based on a one month long Mediterranean yacht charter, moving through Croatia, Greece and Italy.  The itinerary was customised to a particular clients preferences, needs and requirements.  Similarily, an itinerary will be created for your own wishes and interests for your yacht charter vacation.

1 – Embark on your Mediterranean luxury yacht charter in Venice Berth Embark in Venice and enjoy lunch onboard as you take in the magnificent skyline of Venice. After lunch, set off cruising for Rovinj for the night in ACI Marini Rovinj. Distance: 60NM Yacht Cruising: 3 hrs

2- Set off early on your charter yacht and anchor in the beautiful turquoise waters off Brijuni Island for breakfast and an early morning dip. Then head ashore in the tender to Pulain Croatia and explore the Roman amphitheatre by the port. After lunch, continue onto Opatija for the evening.
Distance: 60NM Cruising: 3.15 hrs

3 – Zadar Berth After breakfast, cruise to the island of Krk in preparation for your trip. Distance: 15NM Yacht Cruising: 1 hr

4 – Cruise to Split and stop for lunch and some shopping or sightseeing. Continue onto Trogir for the evening which isn’t quite a commercial as Split. Distance: 75NM Yacht Cruising: 4.45 hr

5- Hvar Berth Head towards Brac in the early morning before the hordes arrive by ferry. Spend an hour or two in Brac before departing for the Paklinski Islands – famous for their secluded coves and beaches. Distance: 15NM Cruising: 1.5hr

After lunch, depart for Hvar where you can spend the night in the marina at Hvar town. Distance: 10NM Yacht Cruising: 0.45hr

6 -Spend the day exploring the islands of Korcula, Ston or Sipan and overnight in Miljet . Distance: 60NM+ Yacht Cruising: 3 hrs

7 - Head into Cruz Marina in Dubrovnik and spend the day exploring this marvellous town. You may wish to dine in the fun open-air seafood restaurant "Kamenice"; or re-visit the past by having a drink or dining at "Victoria" restaurant at the Hotel Argentina's terrace. Distance: 35NM Cruising: 1/45 hrs

8 – Farwell the old and welcome the new guests onboard. Cruise south to the bay of Cavat which is closer to the airport. Clear customs and refuel before heading off for an overnight cruise to Corfu, Greece.  Distance: 210NM Cruising: 13 hrs

9- Awake on you luxury yacht charter in Corfu and spend the morning anchored off in the northwest. This is one of the most beautiful and scenic parts of the island. Enjoy lunch at anchor before continuing onto the main town for the evening. Corfu town is full of cultural diversity from its Italianate Spianada (esplanade) in the main square to concerts of British-style marching bands, games of British cricket, the superb Museum of Asian Art and the small Archaeological Museum containing a striking bust of Medusa. Refuelling stop: Corfu

10- Spend the morning anchored off the beautiful island of Paxos and its smaller sister, Antipaxos which has crystal clear water and wonderful caves to explore. Distance: 35NM Yacht Cruising: 1/45 hrs

After lunch, continue onto the port of Fiskado in Cephalonia for the evening.
Distance: 60NM Yacht Cruising: 3 hrs

11- Fiskado Berth Enjoy a stroll around Fiskado in the morning before heading off to Ithaca for some excellent snorkelling. Throughout the ages Ithaca has been known as the home of Odysseus. For years Homer's hero wandered before he finally returned to his island kingdom. Though he visited beautiful, exotic, far-flung lands, Ithaca never left his mind for a moment. And even today, once you've been to Ithaca, it's difficult to forget this small, mountainous island with its captivating coves that conjure up some earthly paradise.

Ithaca is separated from Cephalonia by a channel some 2 to 4 kilometers wide. The west coast of the island is steep and almost barren in contrast to the green, gentle shoreline on the east. Ithaca offers lovely beaches for bathing and caves for exploring. In the late afternoon, continue onto Zakynthos for the evening. Distance: 40NM Yacht Cruising: 2 hrs

Refuelling stop: Cephalonia or Zakynthos

12- Disembark at 0730 and take a tour around Zakynthos in a boat. Head off directly for the first look at Smuggler’s Cove. Snorkel and swim in the crystal clear waters and explore the Blue Caves. Return to shore at around 1230 and settle in for a traditional Greek lunch at a local tavern.

After lunch, head to the airport for your flight to Catania on the Citation II, due to depart at 1400. Estimated time of arrival in Catania is 1500.

A driver will be at the airport to greet you in Catania and they will be holding a sign. They will transfer you to the San Domenico Palace where 2 delux rooms have been reserved. The transfer is payable direct to concierge at the cost of EUR 145.

Tennis has been booked from 5pm for 1.5 hours. An outside table (subject to weather) for 8 has been reserved for 8pm at Principe Cerami, the hotel’s Michelin star restaurant.

One of the crew of your luxury charter yacht will call you when they arrive and come ashore to collect you after dinner. ETA is around 2100 based on good weather.

13- Head north into the Aeolian Islands to your first stop, Vulcano. Anchor at Porto di Ponente, a quaint port with white houses on a black beach. You may wish to head ashore to Les Sables Noirs for a drink after lunch. Distance: 73NM Yacht Cruising: 3.5/4 hrs

In the afternoon, move onto Lipari for the night. Enjoy an evening out at Hotel Signum where dining on the terrace is delightful in summer. They serve excellent fresh fish and the views are wonderful.
Cruising: 0.5/1 hr Refuelling stop: Messina, Sicily.

14 – Cruise onto Panarea where you can enjoy lunch at the Hotel Maya. Distance: 10NM Yacht Cruising: 45 minutes

After lunch, continue onto Stromboli for a guided climb of the volcano. Enjoy dinner onboard or head out to Ristorante La Locanda del Barbablu for dinner. From here, you get incredible views of Stromboli and its live eruptions.
Distance: 15NM Cruising: 1 hr

15 – Capri Berth Awake underway as your crew make an early start to Amalfi. Anchor off Sorrento and take a car to Pompeii. Enjoy a hearty brunch before embarking on an adventure to explore the ruins. Distance: 130NM Cruising: 8 hr

In the afternoon, continue onto Capri for the evening. We shall book a berth in port so you can easily embark on a final evening out on the town. Distance: 13NM Cruising: 1 hr

16 – June 29th Guests disembark this morning in Naples. The next three days you have in absolute peace and relaxation. Move from the Port of Capri around to the anchorage at Ana Capri. Refuelling stop: Naples

17- Amalfi Berth Cruise down the Amalfi Coast stopping at Le Sirenuse Hotel in Positano for lunch. Spend the night in the port of Amalfi.

18- Take a day tour up to the town of Ravello. Enjoy lunch with spectacular views of the coastline at Hotel Caruso. Return to Capri this evening and spend another night at anchor in Ana Capri.

19- After breakfast, cruise to the island of Ischia. Take a tour of this beautiful island and stop at a recommended restaurant for lunch. After lunch, head off to one of the local hot springs spa for an invigorating soak. Spend the evening in one of the more quiet and picturesque Northern ports on the island.

20 - San Angelo Berth Today a new ‘full house’ will be arriving into Naples. Guests can take the ferry direct to Ischia. Head out to one of Ischia’s beautiful tranquil bays in the morning and perhaps enjoy a kayak and swim before your guests arrive. Berth this evening in marina San Angelo on the fashionable southern cost of the island.

21- Awake and enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading off for Ponza and the islands of Pontine. Take the jetski around the island to explore the caves or enjoy a quiet kayak ride. Dine ashore at one of the delightful local fish restaurants.
Distance: 50NM Cruising: 2.5 hrs

After dinner, settle in to your yacht charter as your crew set off overnight for Sardinia. Distance: 150NM Yacht Cruising: 11 hrs

22- Porto Rotondo or Portsico Berth Awake in the Bay of Cala De Volpe. Take a swim and enjoy the eye candy you see around you. My how things have changed in the last 20 years. Head ashore for lunch in the famous Cala De Volpe Hotel. In the late afternoon, cruise around to Porto Rotondo for an evening in port. Distance: 4 NM

23- Set off for La Maddelena archipelago. A delightful group of National Park and protected islands with magnificent clear water and an abundance of flora and fauna. Berth in Maddelena Distance: 15 NM Cruising: 1 hr

24- Bonifaccio, Corsica, Berth Spend a morning swimming, kayaking and relaxing. Enjoy lunch at anchor before heading to Bonifacio for the evening. Enjoy one of the magnificent local Corsican restaurants. Distance: 15 NM Yacht Cruising: 1 hr Refuelling stop: Bonifaccio.

25 – Porto Santa Stefano Berth July 8th Cruise north for one hour and enjoy lunch at Hotel Casa Del Mar in Porto Vecchio. After lunch depart for Porto Santa Stefano in Tuscany.
Distance: 95 NM Cruising: 5 hrs

26 – July 9th Spend the day exploring the crystal clear waters of Isola Giglio and bays close to Porto Ercole including Cala Piccola and Cala Piatti and Acqua Dolce and Viste (All in peninsula of Argentario).

27 – Portoferreria berth After breakfast, cruise north to Isola Elba – famous for its lush vegetation, beautiful bays and wonderful scenery. Berth in Portoferreira for the evening. Distance: 47 NM Cruising: 2 hrs

28- Fort dei Marmi/Viareggio berth? Your crew will depart bright and early for Fort de Marmi. Spend the day exploring this old port for which you have so many memories. Enjoy an early dinner ashore before moving the yacht to Viareggio for the evening. Distance: 68 NM Cruising: 3.5 hrs

29 – Disembark you luxury yacht charter at Viareggio, Italy, at 9am We will arrange a minivan for a day of exploration. The van can take you for a tour around the coast of this region before dropping you at the airport for your outbound flight.
