GRANDE AMORE (ex Dia's, Smile)

Motor yacht GRANDE AMORE was built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 2006 and refitted in 2020. Previously named Dia’s and Smile, she measures 44.20m (145′) in LOA, has a beam of 9.26m (30ft) with a draft of 2.8m (9’). The accommodation consists of 6 elegant ensuite staterooms, sleeping up to 12 charter guests as well as accommodation for up 10 crew members at your service.

EXTERIOR

From the lower deck swim platform guests have access to the main deck aft, which is fitted with a sofa along the stern, an elevated table and movable chairs for a comfortable place to rest and dine alfresco sheltered by the upper deck overhang.

The bow section is a private outdoor terrace for occupants of the Master Suite and provides a sunbed to port and to starboard a semi-circular sofa and a circular table for alfresco dining while enjoying panoramic views.

The upper deck is an inviting outdoor space that gives guests plenty of seating along the bulwarks, raised tables for drinks and dining, and armchairs in the forward corners. A staircase leads up to the sundeck, which has a forward wet bar to port, two curving seating areas to starboard each with a table for casual drinks and dining, and sun loungers to port, all shaded by the hardtop. The exposed aft section has a curving sofa to port with a drinks table and a Sienna Whirlpool Jacuzzi with heater.

INTERIOR

The lower deck layout places the crew accommodation, mess and laundry facilities forward with the guest twin cabins and double cabins amidships. The engine room is behind, followed by the tender garage in the stern boasting a massive selection of water toys along with a 10m/32.8ft and a 4.45m/15ft Castoldi tender.

The main deck places the Master suite forward followed by the galley a main foyer amidships. The aft interior combines the formal dining area and main salon to create one large social space, with the elegant dining area surrounded by large windows and warm wooden panelling. Cabinets separate the formal dining area from the aft salon, which symmetrically places a sofa beneath the windows to port and starboard, joined by coffee tables.

The upper deck hosts the VIP stateroom behind the helm station and Captain’s cabin, and there is direct access from the guest bedroom to the sky lounge. Similar to the main salon the two sofas are arranged in a symmetrical layout beneath the windows, while a coffee table is in the centre of the room and a widescreen TV mounted on the aft starboard wall.

A pair of CAT 3508 B DITA-SWAC Diesel 1300 HP engines produce a top speed of 16 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economical 12 knots.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 12 guests over 6 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins, both with a Pullman berth.
~ The Master suite on the main deck forward benefits from 180 degrees forward views from the king-sized bed. A desk is placed beneath the windows to port, a sofa and walk-in wardrobe behind the bed and a forward sliding door leading out to the private foredeck. An office with a widescreen TV is placed aft of the bedroom and adds greater privacy between the bedroom and the main foyer. The port and starboard aft corners both contain an en-suite bathroom. The ‘Hers’ en-suite bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet and shower while the ‘His’ en-suite bathroom has the same amenities plus a Jacuzzi tub that is wheelchair accessible.
~ The VIP stateroom has a similar layout on the upper deck forward, also enjoying 180-degree views and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The room is fitted with an armchair and footstool, plus plenty of storage space and a widescreen TV with direct access to the upper deck lounge.
~ The double cabins are aft of amidships on the lower deck with a deck on the inner wall and wardrobe space. Opposite the double bed on the aft wall is a widescreen TV, and the aft en-suite bathroom is fitted with a sink, toilet and shower.
~ The twin cabins forward of the double cabins on the lower deck both have a Pullman berth, widescreen TVs and en-suite bathroom containing a sink, toilet and shower.
