Built by Westship in 2004 and last refitted in 2019, 44.2m/145ft luxury yacht TANZANITE (ex.FIGHTING IRISH) was extensively refitted inside and out in 2019. Among her changes are new audio-visual entertainment systems, new generators and stabilisers, a new sundeck configuration and a hull repaint. Jack Sarin Naval Architects, Inc. designed her naval architecture, while the exterior styling is the work of Carr Design and the interiors by Katia Bates of Innovative Creations. The accommodation sleeps up to 10 charter guests over 5 en-suite staterooms, with a crew of 9 to ensure that everyone on board is well taken care of throughout the journey.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is a comfortable relaxation and socialising area off the main salon that offers a plush sofa along the stern with an elevated table for alfresco dining. A bar is placed close to the doors into the main salon, and to port and starboard, a walkway passes by the interior to connect with stairways up to the foredeck. The foredeck is furnished with a pair of curving sofas each with a drinks table for casual relaxation while taking in the panoramic forward views.

The upper deck places the tender and motorised water toys along the stern with a Davit crane for easy launch and retrieval. A circular alfresco dining table is placed in the centre beneath the shade of the sundeck overhang, with plenty of space for guests to stretch out after a meal.

The sundeck offers a six-person Jacuzzi along the stern with sunpads on both sides, and under the hardtop there is a port alfresco dining area with a wet bar opposite. The helm station controls are positioned forward, with plenty of seating for guests to unwind and take in the views.

INTERIOR

The ambient interior styling uses dark colours on the walls and pales furnishings in a range of earthy colours for inviting social areas that draw the eye.

On the lower deck, the crew accommodation and facilities are placed in the bow with the four VIP staterooms (two of which convert into twins) amidships. The engine room is behind and a beach club is located in the stern.

On the main deck, the forward Master suite takes advantage of the full beam to provide a lounge area to starboard and a desk to port of the king-sized bed. A 75" TV screen is placed opposite the bed, and the forward en-suite bathroom offers spa facilities with a Jacuzzi tub and shower as well as his-and-hers sinks, heads and wardrobes.

The main foyer is placed behind to starboard and to port, there is the galley, which connects through to the formal dining area placed forward within the open-plan salon. A bar is placed aft to port, and a corner sofa opposite with a set of coffee tables forms a comfortable place to rest and chat at any time of the day, with a 75" widescreen TV for entertainment in the evenings and while in transit.

The upper deck places the helm station controls forward with the spacious sky lounge to the aft furnished with a 75" widescreen TV, a starboard bar with a games table to the aft and seating all along the port wall.

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 10 guests over 5 en-suite cabins: 1 Master suite and 4 VIP staterooms, two of which are convertible to twins. The experienced crew of 9 will provide first class service throughout every journey.
