Watch: Frank Laupman’s view on the new 50m yacht Project Aquamarine

The exterior designer Frank Laupman of Omega Architects provides an overview of the creation of the new 50-metre Heesen yacht PROJECT AQUAMARINE. The yacht is the first unit in the 5000 Aluminium class with less than 500GT and IMO Tier III compliant.

PROJECT AQUAMARINE is being built completely from aluminium with innovative hull design developed by the in-house team of naval architects at Heesen in collaboration with Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The interior will boast a contemporary Japanese-inspired look created by Cristiano Gatto.

Earlier this month Heesen announced the hull and superstructure of PROJECT AQUAMARINE joined together and the yacht progressing to the outfitting stage.

She is scheduled for delivery in January 2021.
