Superyacht HEMISPHERE and HEAVENLY DAZE yacht nominated for ISS Awards

Launched by Pendennis in 2011, the 44m luxury catamaran yacht Hemisphere has been nominated as a finalist for ISS Design and Leadership Awards in the ‘Sailing Yacht 40m+’ category. In addition to sailing yacht Hemisphere, the 1972 Feadship motor yacht Heavenly Daze is also among the finalists, competing for the refit award. She was refitted at the Pendennis Shipyard in 2011/12.

The yachts entered are reviewed and voted for by members of the ISS, so to be shortlisted for. Luxury yacht Hemisphere and superyacht Heavenly Daze is testament to the respect for Pendennis’ work from within its own industry.

ISS presents its Design and Leadership Awards each year. It recognizes individuals and companies for their expertise, leadership and dedication to raising the standards of design, construction, maintenance, repair and operation of large yachts.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held in Fort Lauderdale on 25th October, following on from the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
