The hull of motor yacht Storm 78 S by Storm Yachts was showcased to a selected audience for the first time on Thursday, May 23, 2013, as per the sneak preview posted on Van Oossanen Naval Architect’s website. Being completed, the hull as well as superstructure of Storm 78 S yacht made an impression of a proper pocketsize super yacht.

With naval architecture by Van Oossanen, luxury yacht Storm 78 S features both the exterior, as well as interior design by Omega Architects. She was presented for the first time at the 2013 HISWA in-water Boat Show in Amsterdam.

The main features of Storm 78 S yacht are great looks, superior comfort, lots of space as well as the latest technology. The hull is based on the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), developed by Van Oossanen.

The all-aluminium Storm 78 yacht is a fast A-class vessel, with a maximum speed of around 24 knots and a cruising speed of around 16 knots, reached thanks to the ZF PODs and Caterpillar engines. She represents the very highest standards of Dutch design, engineering and construction in every respect.
