Overmarine partners with MarineMax, USA’s largest yachting retailer

In its first comments to the media about its acquisition of Baglietto and Pisa, Overmarine’s management team has expressed confidence that it will have full control of operations by mid-March. Overmarine also announced they have entered into a new agreement with MarineMax the world’s largest boat dealer (listed on the New York Stock Exchange symbol HZO).

Overmarine Group and MarineMax are starting a new business model that meets the demanding needs of their clients. The Group will be able to strengthen its presence and visibility in the American market with a reliable partner situated in 55 strategic locations providing a clear and direct link with the shipyard.

Bob Fritsky, vice president of Marine Max, was present for the announcement and was excited about promoting Mangusta at first and eventually both Baglietto and Pisa.

Among the yachts Fritsky will be promoting: the Mangusta 130, plus a new model — the Mangusta 205.

At the Miami International Boat Show Overmarine Group presented the new version of Mangusta 130’ for the first time in the US market. The yacht features a new hull designed with hydrodynamic sea-keeping performance; new engines MTU 16V4000 m93L (2×3440 Kw) for a maximum speed in excess of 40 knots; and Kamewa water jets type 71 S3. Lay out is 4 cabins with Master stateroom at stern, including a private gym for the Owner, VIP at bow and two guests cabin with twin beds. Crew accommodation is for five.

As any other Mangusta model, Mangusta 130 is characterized by a huge outdoor space with dining area, with automatic (hydraulic) bimini top, sunpad area forward and rear. Sea toys are 2 jetski, in a dedicated garage space, and a Castoldi 16’ jet tender stored in the main garage.
