Designed by Omega Architects Design, the latest 55-metre Heesen yacht YN 17255, whose fast displacement hull form was developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, was designed to have a strong presence, thanks to her slightly forward leaning superstructure as well as a substantial, helmet-like wheelhouse roof. The all-new steel fast displacement motor yacht YN 17255 is due to be delivered in Summer 2015.

The high forward bulwarks are closed and provide a sense of seaworthiness. The aft bulwarks open up with glass surfaces, to provide panoramic view on the water.

With the wrap-around full height glass windows, the skylounge provides openness and allows light to come in abundantly. Full height windows in the owners contribute to her quality of a grand yacht.

The combination of the relatively closed body at the forward half and the openness at the back creates the bold look of the 55m superyacht YN 17255 and is distinctively different from former generations of Heesen yachts, the ones with the pelican bows.

Features of the 55m luxury yacht YN 17255:
– Forward garage with ‘Gull wing’ doors
– Dedicated beach club aft
