MARINE ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS LTD (MESL), a leader in the specification and installation of entertainment, communications, IT and security systems, is currently attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2014. The company is on hand in the MTN Pop Lounge at the Black Legend Restaurant. MESL has specified and installed a comprehensive entertainment system on board the outstanding 73m Perini Navi motor yacht Grace E, also on display at the 2014 MYS.

At this convenient location just behind the Darse Sud Tent, MESL staff will be available throughout the show to answer any questions that yacht professionals may have regarding their onboard systems, as well being on hand to discuss emerging technologies, upgrade options and more.
Innovative products with real benefits
The MESL team will also be showing some recently developed equipment designed to assist engineers with maximising and allocating their onboard data streams. The Libra Cell Weaver, for example, can combine four 4G/3G connections into a single data stream with speeds of up to 400 MBit/s, while the Libra WANMeister allows engineers to allocate different data services to different onboard networks. This would allow the owner to have priority access to VSAT while the crew uses 3G, for example.

MESL is also delighted that the 73m mega yacht Grace E built by Perini Navi will be at the show (berth T05). In close consultation with the owners, MESL specified and installed a comprehensive entertainment system on board that also delivers lighting, blinds and AC control. Security and IT including Wi-Fi and internet were also core parts of the package. In order to blend in with the décor, the TV screens have been either concealed behind mirrors or retracted into the ceilings. The speakers are placed above ceiling panels with special covers which allow excellent sound quality.
