International Yachting Radar: Couach is back with 20 new models

Operating since 1897, Chantier Naval Couach has secured its reputation as a famous semi-custom luxury yacht builder, Specialising in naval architecture, exterior styling and interior design, Couach offers a full range of luxury performance yachts. This year, the superyacht building company has been experiencing significant changes and said to be back in the global yachting industry with 20 new superyacht models. In addition to that, Couach has just announced its partnership with bespoke Espen Oeino, a designer of some superstars in the superyacht industry – 156m Disbar, 95m Kismet, 155m Al Said, and 106m Mistral

Couach has made some serious investments into its technical facilities and workshops on the French Atlantic Coast and will be entering a new era in custom yacht construction over the next 18 months. The new superyacht models will be from 5 various ranges: the Mediterranean Collection, the Timeless Collection, the Super Sport Collection, the Lounge Collection and the Super Yacht Collection.

The Mediterranean collection will consist of three modes of a tender or chase boat and will come in three different sizes: 13m, 15m and 17m. Clement Carbonnne, an in-house Couach designer, will be working on the Lounge Collection, which will comprise of different models of semi-displacement explorer yachts: 35m, 38m and 42m. The Lounge Collection is characterised by bold lines, hight freeboard and protected hull, also emphasising comfort and luxury. Inside-outside flow is a great feature of the living spaces, offered by full-deck lounge and dining room and a beam-wide upper deck dining and seating areas.

As for collaboration of Couach with Espen Oeino, there will be three collection that Oeino will be closely working on. The Timeless Collection will consist of 6 fast flybridge superyacht models, representing the opulence of a superyacht, while providing the guests an opportunity to be closer to the water, which might be missing on large vessels. Hence, the size of the yachts will vary between 20 and 40 metres. The second collection under Espen Oeino development will be the Super Sport. As in the Timeless Collection, there will be 6 superyachts, and also between 20 and 40 metres. An outstanding characteristics of this line will include military vessels-like performance, excellent seakeeping and manoeuvrability, especially appreciated for those looking for adventure and luxury in a yacht. The Super Yacht Collection, another collection on the list of Oeino, will feature transatlantic-capable superyacht in a range of 40+ metres. Each yacht in the collection will be custom-built to incentivise potential owners on buying a perfect yacht.
