Turkish shipyard Evadne Yachts has launched 24m/79ft explorer yacht ROCK ahead of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2018 and Monaco Yacht Show 2018 coming up this September.

Envisioned as an ‘SUV yacht’ with a concept design and naval architecture by Vripack, she is built with a plumb bow for rough seas and is constructed in steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.

Although a smaller scale explorer yacht, ROCK provides plenty of luxury with a low aft deck for close proximity to the water, and high quality finishes throughout the rooms: Robin De Vries balanced her svelte and streamlined exterior by creating bold rooms using marble as a key material.

The accommodation provides for eight guests over four cabins, which include a Master suite, a VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. The crew of four will provide a discreet service while ensuring that everything on board runs optimally.

Twin Caterpillar C12 1,000 HP diesel engines produce a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles drawing 12,000 litres at an economical 9 knots.

Launched on the 4th of August, she will be delivered to her owner, Ali Sayakci, on the 25th of August.
