Marina Corricella is a beautiful fishing town, resembling an amphitheatre on the sea, surrounded by nets and fishing boats. Only attainable by sea, there are no vehicles here, but only the voices of the fishermen who mend the nets on the wharf. The village of Corricella faces due south-east and is sheltered from all other sides by the cliff behind. A long ridge of rocks protects the marina from the occasional south-easterly wind (Scirocco).
