CRN, the renowned Italian luxury yacht brand of the Ferretti Group, specialising in the build of fully-custom steel and aluminium megayachts between 40 and 90 metres, launched the 61m CRN 133 motor yacht SARAMOUR in March, 2014, following her construction at the historical Ancona shipyard in Italy. Super yacht SARAMOUR represents a magnificent outcome of an excellent synergy between the Owner and the shipyard. Naval design and engineering have been done by the CRN Technical Department, while the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio were responsible for her exterior and interior design, with interiors created in close collaboration with CRN Interiors and Design Department.

The vessel was entirely built in Ancona. It has an overall length of 61.3 metres and a beam of 10.20 metres and develops over 5 decks plus a sub lower deck. Luxury yacht Saramour features 5 guest cabins – 2 suites, 2 VIP cabins and the Master Stateroom – thereby accommodating 10 passengers, as well as 14 crew members. This new yacht stands out for her classical-modern style, “scattered with” design elements that draw inspiration from the automotive sector, the typical mark of Francesco Paszkowski Design. The exterior profile is characterised by harmonious lines and a timeless design style that flawlessly and consistently blends together the various elements, resulting in an all-pervasive sense of aesthetic harmony that is further enhanced by the polished white and light grey shades of the hull.

Minimal style has been chosen for the interiors, where curved lines, light and fluid spaces and recurrent design elements result in a great aesthetic consistency throughout the yacht. Minimalism and sobriety characterise all furniture and furnishings, a solution also aimed at visually “ making room” for the precious works of art personally chosen by the Owner to turn the yacht into a large “art gallery” that reflects the Owner’s passion and taste.

Harmonious colour choices pervade the spacious interiors too, where the warmth of Canaletto walnut has been combined with burgundy lacquered wood and the elegance of Thala Beige natural marble. The co-existence of these three colour shades is a recurrent theme that unravels across the entire yacht.

This vessel is characterised by details and design solutions that ensure a constant, direct contact with the sea, like the beach club on the lower deck – with the aft door that, opening, turns into a beach at the sea level with a fully-equipped solarium – and the balcony on the upper deck, allowing to enjoy the magnificent view of the sea even when cruising.

The SARAMOUR yacht can be accessed aft through the large and comfortable cockpit on the main deck, featuring a guest lounge in bright, lively colours. Stepping in, guests are welcomed to the main salon, where the walls and floors in Canaletto walnut wonderfully match the lacquered burgundy of some pieces of furniture and the Thala Beige marble used in the wall recesses. This generally sober colour atmosphere is occasionally interrupted by the sudden explosion of colours of some accessories, such as the bright yellow of the sofa standing by the entrance.

The salon has been conceived as a large open space, without any partitions dividing the dining area from the living area, which is even more precious thanks to centuries-old Persian rugs. An area devoted to socialisation, furnished with stylishly arranged sofas and armchairs, adds style consistency to the entire room; a concealing 55″ screen TV set that can be lowered from the ceiling panel can be found after the dining area, featuring a custom-made table with a Murano glass top supported by a lacquered burgundy metal frame. seating 12 people.

In the central part of the yacht is a circular lobby with a glass lift for the guests, connecting all decks; an aerial winding staircase, specifically designed to let the light shine through the suspended steps, runs around the lift. Colour contrasts and the presence of LED lights on each step make this area particularly airy, bright and charming.

Walking towards the bow, to portside, is the wide professional galley, with a fully-custom central island, featuring the same colour shades of the guest areas. Walking further, on the starboard side, sinuous lines that run through the sea view balcony area mark the entrance to the exclusive guest apartment, consisting of a suite connected to an adjoining living room. The furniture, the décor and the works of art that embellish this area strike the eye and create a pleasant colour harmony “playing” with the bright colours and the warm shades of the fabrics.

The aft area on the lower deck hosts the beach club, a true peaceful ‘oasis’ devoted to relaxation. The aft door opens up to reveal a solarium decorated with patterns whose colours draw inspiration from the sea landscape. This area is fitted with all comforts: a TV lounge, comfortable chaise lounge, an icemaker, a refrigerator and a shower. The two symmetrical garages can fit two large tenders (an 8.20-metre Riva Iseo and a 6.40-metre Castoldi). Beyond them are the control room and the engine room.

The central part of the vessel includes a suite and two VIP cabins. The former is a true masterpiece in terms of style and original solutions: in this full-beam cabin the bed area and the bathroom are not separate, but have simply been divided by a see-through glazed surface with a Venetian blind, which creates fascinating, warm light effects. The conversation area located in the middle of the cabin is furnished with cider-shade armchairs with burgundy stitching and a coffee table with a glass top. The suite is completed by a large walk-in wardrobe with marble walls. Walking past the central lobby, access is gained to the other two VIP cabins, mirroring each other, both with ensuite head, a lounge, and a concealing TV set that can be lowered from the ceiling.

The fore part of the yacht, starting halfway through the vessel, hosts the crew quarters, which include the day area, a full-beam relaxation area and dinette, and the night area, with 6 twin ensuite cabins at the extreme bow. From the dinette, an internal service staircase leads directly to the sub lower deck, where the laundry, the pantry and the technical area are located.

For the first time ever on a CRN vessel of this size, the upper deck of Saramour yacht is entirely devoted to the Owner, allowing him to enjoy cruising and onboard life at best and in the utmost privacy. The cockpit comprises a large, refined outdoor dining area, conceived to ensure that the Owner and his guests can enjoy their meals with a magnificent panoramic view over the sea.

The spacious salon is bright and stylish and is characterised by the soft colours of the furniture and décor, interrupted only by the burgundy shade of the partition that serves as a ‘wing’ with an integrated TV set, adding a unique touch to the entire room. Towards the bow is the master stateroom, separated from the lobby by a C-shaped concealing glazing activated by the simple touch of a button – a design solution that has been implemented specifically to allow all guests to move around the various decks and use the wellness and fitness areas and the sun deck without affecting the Owner’s privacy in the least. In line with traditional layouts, the master cabin is located at the extreme bow.

It is a fully open space and, thanks to an elegant sliding door, it opens up onto a private deck with a square swimming pool, decorated with a light blue and white mosaic, and side sun pads. The swimming pool – lined in bent teak obtained from a special hand processing – can be covered, if necessary, and converted into a large sunbathing area. The area in front of the swimming pool, fitted with a central glazing, allows to see the water and the mosaic, which becomes even more fascinating when it is illuminated.

The Owner’s head is very impressive too. It features a beautiful white oval bathtub and a large shower with glazed walls. The shower is decorated with a refined gold leaf and burgundy flours mosaic. The Owner’s area is completed by the office and the walk-in wardrobe; these rooms are even more precious thanks to various works of art and stylish décor elements.

With her 61 metres in length, motor yacht Saramour can boast an additional deck, the fly deck, conceived for the guests’ fitness and maximum onboard wellbeing. A wide sunbathing area can be found at the extreme stern, furnished with comfortable chaise lounges and a lounge area that can be converted into a helipad for the touch-and-go landing of a helicopter weighing up to 3 tons. Inside, the fitness area is fitted with Technogym training equipment and a massage bed that can also be easily moved outdoor and a wellness area with Turkish bath. The wide glazed ceiling makes this area very bright and airy. From the interiors, this area can be accessed via a long corridor characterised by a wavy movement and finely decorated with a mosaic depicting the sea.

The Captain’s cabin is located in the central part of the vessel; on the left there is a staff-crew cabin with Pullman beds, followed by the pilot station with a central console allowing to walk around it and offering a 180° view on the sea. This area is completed by the control dashboard, the radio station, and the entertainment and home automation system rack room.

The entire audio-video entertainment and home automation system (curtains, lights, air conditioning), developed by CRN in cooperation with Videoworks, can be easily controlled by user-friendly iPad and iPadMini devices.

From the fly deck access is gained to the sun deck via a carbon external ladder. Besides being extremely stylish, carbon ensures incredible lightness to the ladder frame, which can thus be lifted, allowing the crew to access the storage compartments below it. A large round Jacuzzi with sunbathing area has been installed in the central part of the sun deck, sheltered by the main mast, and an additional sunbathing area can be found towards the bow.
