Superyacht builder CMN is partnering with Aircraft manufacturer DAHER-SOCATA at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show to introduce their respective products to visitors: the TBM 850 very fast turboprop aircraft as a transport solution for yacht owners and operators, and the CMN sailing and motor yachts as their maritime dreamships.

The Monaco Yacht Show which is held from September 19-22 in the Principality of Monaco, is an exclusive event that brings together 30,000 international visitors and more than 500 participating companies from the luxury yachting sector. It also provides an opportunity for discussion and exchanges on complimentary areas – such as business aviation.

“CMN’s award-winning super yachts share a common philosophy with DAHERSOCATA’s TBM 850 aircraft in terms of engineering excellence, European style and dedication to customer satisfaction,” commented Nicolas Chabbert, DAHER-SOCATA’s Senior Vice President – Airplane Division. “We welcome this opportunity to make our customers discover the products and capabilities of both our companies.”

“With its sleek lines and superior comfort, the TBM 850 perfectly mirrors the style of our super yachts,” added Cyril Le Sourd, CMN’s Vice-President Sales & Marketing. “This aircraft’s performance and flexibility make it a good solution for the transportation of yacht owners and guest passengers to their port of registry, or to their business destination.”

DAHER-SOCATA’s TBM 850 is the world’s fastest certified single-engine turboprop, with a maximum cruise speed of 320 KTAS at 26,000 ft. (in ISA conditions). As an 850-shp version of DAHER-SOCATA’s proven six-seat TBM 700 turboprop business aircraft, the TBM 850 combines cruise speeds and travel times typical of light jets with the economical direct operating costs of a turboprop, along with superior range and payload capacity.

Since its 2005 launch, the TBM 850 has become an international success – with more than 278 aircraft delivered as of September 10, 2012. The combined TBM 700 and TBM 850 fleet now stands over 600 units worldwide and has exceeded 985,000 flight hours.
