A Luxury Yacht Charter Holiday in Bodrum
The word “Bodrum” literally means “subterranean vault.” Historians believe that this is the reference to the ancient tombs that were built for King Mausolus during 355 BC. Declared as one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world, this important archaeological artefact was ravaged by a devastating earthquake several years ago and all that exists today are a few carved portions and its foundations.
A Bodrum yacht charter is great for yachting enthusiasts who are looking for a relatively more frenetic and lively pace in their holiday in Turkey. While this tourist centre puts you on a highly-charged mode during your Mediterranean holiday, it is also not far away from quaint and laidback tourist spots where you can go if you want to break away from the highly charged and feverish pace in Bodrum.
Bodrum is a top choice for those who are spending their holiday on board charter yacht primarily because of its rich history and cosmopolitan character. There are quite a number of popular attractions and a slew of fun activities by day and night that will keep you busy for the entire duration of your stay in this lively town. Client Testimonials
What our clients say about their charter experience.
An Amazing Experience: My company is VIP Yacht Charter Group where I offer Glatt Kosher Yacht charters. I transitioned from day to term charters and was looking for a company and broker that I could trust. I reached out to Trina and explained to here that I have a client that was looking to do a week Glatt Kosher charter in the South of France. I knew from our initial call that she was the right person to work with. Trina is extremely knowledgeable in the charter world. The Yacht she recommended was Zeemar a 100ft, 5 stateroom beauty, and there couldn't have been a better yacht and crew for this client. Trina went above and beyond to make sure that everything went perfectly from communicating with the client to Captain and even provisioner. She was always available to talk no matter what time it was. I am so grateful to Trina that this charter went way beyond the clients' expectations.
Reia, the trip was awesome, and the crew was the best we have ever had for sure. Super clean and tidy boat all the time, very very stable, so very little rocking. All male crew (most have been together for a long time), Okan the butler is basically the treasure of it all. He has been with the company since he was 14 years old, and his wife works for the company. He is the only one that speaks fluent English and was absolutely fabulous. There are tons of Gulets so getting the right one was so important. The Chef was literally 5 star—he has been there since 2010. The best food we have ever had truly unreal. Presentation amazing… all super fresh. They had all the drinks and wines we requested on pref sheet. They physically lugged my Dad all over the boat and never once complained and never ever hesitated to help. Water sports guys were awesome. Snorkeling gear for adults and kids was in perfect shape (my son got a sinus infection so could not dive but they had a private tour arranged). They have tubes and a big water sofa, two tenders, a jet ski, kayaks and paddleboards. They readily take stuff on and off the boat whenever you want them to and all the way until 7-7:30 we would be in the water. Laundry was helpful. They do three main itineraries. The one we did is really about enjoying the water and cruising. There is one place to see, but it is not probably like Greece or Croatia where people are getting off and sightseeing. They do one itinerary which is two or three nearby Greek islands which do have sightseeing, but they told me it ups the price of the charter a lot. They also do one way down on the Lycean coast. I would love to go back. They have no white space in their calendar. When we left they picked up an American woman from NYC who has rented for two weeks for 5 years. They are 90% repeat guests, and they told me we were 1 of 4 new charters this week. There is a British couple who has reserved their time in September for the next three years. They already have 8 weeks of the summer booked next year. So I gather this is a popular crew and chef. For my taste July and August would be WAY too hot. They said September everyone loves but they charter all through October. Let me know if any other info would be helpful. I guess one final thought is if you had two families the way the boat is split is ideal. Three rooms in the bow with a master and three rooms in the stern with a master so very separated. Okay thanks again.
It was a fantastic trip. Thanks for all your help in organizing. The boat and the crew are the best. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about a charter. An experience we will no doubt repeat again at some point!!
Reia, everything is great! Fatih proved to be very helpful, fast and efficient. The crew is very good, the service great as the cook. All the boat looks great. The beautiful hardwood shines. The way the gulet is built creates a lot of beautiful open air shaded spaces to relax and eat or a perfect set up to watch the stars at night. Much better than in much bigger yachts. We love it! Hello Reia, I hope this email finds you well. My client and his guests were delighted! He said: Excellent charter and great captain. Everything went very well. On my side, working with you all was such a great teamwork. I really liked your reactivity, flexibility, and good communication. I wish working always with people like the three of you. I will definitely recommend the yacht to brokers and clients.
Reia, my clients had only great things to say about the charter. They really loved every minute and said the crew were the best they had ever had. From all the work ahead of time to get alcohol and the limitations on procuring that, and the time you took communicating to all of us, the clients felt extremely taken care of and raved about the experience. One of the principal's guests contacted me 12 hours after boarding and said that he wanted to do this again with his family. Gulet CANER IV, Bodrum Turkish coast, May 2021.
