The nearby town of St Jean Cap Ferrat is perfect to include in a Ville Franche luxury yacht charter. The Villa and Gardens of Ephrussi de Rothschild especially should be added to any South-of-France itinerary for its exquisite paintings from Old Masters Renoir and Monet, surrounded by opulent early 20th Century furnishings and matched by an equally-impressive garden designed to look like a ship.
Snorkelling and diving is plentiful within the bay and charter guests can encounter colourful nudibranches at depths of around 20m/66ft and rocky outcrops covered in sea fans and corals at shallower depths. For sunbathing, 'Plage de la Darse' is located right beside the marina, however it is open to the public and can get as crowded as the town's other beaches in the summer months: Cruise along the coastline and your captain will help locate a more private spot for your group.

We aren’t sure how we will survive at home, and there won’t be a drink, a cold towel and a smile waiting for us. Shane - you found us the best anchorages - exactly where we wanted to be - out of the way, out of the wind, but close to everything. We wanted adventures, and you went out of your way to source e-bikes, which ended up being a highlight. We know it wasn’t easy to find or to get them on and off the boat. The smaller things: remembering everyone’s names; the printed AllTrails maps; taking our kids jet skiing. They have all been noticed and appreciated. We know that it isn’t easy to build a team that can create such an exceptional experience. Congratulations to everyone on board - including those behind the scenes we don’t get to see as much. The crew was awesome (5/5). They worked so well together and really seemed to enjoy working together. They took care of our every need and then some. The cuisine was amazing (5/5). The chef was excellent and had a broad range of cuisine. The country kitchen setup gave us a greater opportunity to interact with the chef, which was a really nice feature. The yacht's interior was immaculate (5/5), and the condition of the yacht was like new (5/5). We absolutely loved the layout, especially the indoor/outdoor option of the bar area on the top deck, and we loved the décor. The amenities onboard were excellent (5/5), with everything we needed and more. We particularly enjoyed the floating chairs and the beach chairs, and we had two great fishing trips - Bo and Hunter were fantastic on those outings. The only suggestion we would make is that the outside aft top deck was always in full sun. We would have used it much more if there had been some type of awning, similar to the one they have for the bow sitting area. We discussed this with the captain on Saturday, and he had already ordered it by Sunday! We would absolutely recommend Indigo and her crew to others. Although the yacht sleeps eight, we would recommend no more than six adults. If there are two to four children, then eight guests could work comfortably. As for your service, we honestly cannot think of a single thing you could have done differently or better to ensure the ultimate yachting vacation. You went so far above and beyond. Thank you!
Sally, hi, the trip was amazing; we loved LIR. The crew were fantastic, and the chef came up with some fabulous meals. The itinerary was great, and the weather was almost perfect. We loved it so much we would definitely consider a repeat trip, maybe around Sicily, in the future.
