The 2020 RORC Caribbean 600 Race will start on the 24th of February 2020 

Sailing fans from around the world are set to gather in the Caribbean for Antigua’s RORC (Royal Ocean Race Club) Caribbean 600 regatta event. Celebrating its 10th year, enthusiasts are looking forward to seeing the largest ever offshore fleets of sailing yachts compete against one another. This annual 600-mile-long race circumnavigates around 11 Caribbean islands, a challenge which all the participants relish.

Last year almost 900 sailors including Olympic medallists and America’s Cup winners took part in the regatta. The upcoming 2020 event is bound to attract strong competition once again, record entry is expected.

The RORC Caribbean starts and finishes in Antigua. This race course is an enduring test of speed and agility for all those taking part, a real cracker of an event.  It weaves its way around Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis then St. Barths before circling the superyacht playground of St. Martin, heading back down to Guadeloupe.

To round up the event on the final evening, a prize-giving ceremony is going to be held at the Antigua Yacht Club. The well -deserved winners will be presented with an exciting collection of silverware, decanters and medallions. Then it’s party time, Caribbean style into the early hours.
