ACCOMMODATIONS
Guest Accommodation:
SHIDA is one of the finest luxury catamarans available for charter in Southern Italy. Based in Fiumicino, near Rome, she is ideally positioned to explore some of the most spectacular cruising grounds in the Mediterranean, including the Pontine Archipelago, the Amalfi Coast, Sardinia, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, and the Egadi Islands.
This elegant Lagoon 620 catamaran combines generous living spaces, excellent sailing performance, and refined comfort, making her a perfect choice for guests seeking a relaxed yet luxurious charter experience. Designed with both functionality and style in mind, SHIDA features a bright and spacious openplan saloon on the main deck, enhanced by large panoramic windows that flood the interior with natural light. The galley is fully separated on the lower deck, ensuring privacy and efficiency for the crew while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere in the guest areas.
The yacht accommodates up to 6 guests in three comfortable double cabins, all with private en-suite bathrooms. The master cabin is particularly impressive, offering a large bathroom and two separate entrances: one from the saloon and a private access directly from the cockpit, ensuring both comfort and privacy. Two additional VIP double cabins provide equally refined accommodation with en-suite facilities and separate showers.
Outdoor living is a highlight on board SHIDA. The spacious cockpit offers a welcoming dining area and a well-equipped pantry with refrigerator, perfect for al fresco meals and relaxed evenings at anchor. The flybridge provides an additional lounge space with stunning panoramic views, while the foredeck invites guests to unwind on the large sunbathing areas.
Several sun awnings create generous shaded spaces across the yacht, ensuring comfort even during the warmest Mediterranean days. At the stern two stairs provide easy and safe access to the sea and creating a perfect spot to relax by the water.
Tailor-made for comfort and reliability, SHIDA is powered by two 170 HP Volvo Penta engines and equipped perfectly to ensure autonomy and smooth cruising throughout the Mediterranean. High-quality finishes, leather sofas, and carefully selected bed linen further enhance the feeling of understated luxury on board.
With her spacious layout, experienced crew, and ideal base in central Italy, SHIDA is the perfect yacht for discovering the beauty of the Italian coastline and islands in style and comfort.

Positive CharterWorld Customer Review: "Hi Trina. The charter was really nice. I think I prefer the layout of the 56 better than the 62 but the boat was nice. The captain and crew were spot on and showed us a great time. The weather wasn't totally perfect all week but we made the most of it. The critic if I had to choose would be that of lack of communication when it comes to food. Everything was delicious but on this charter and others, I would think that they would ask what we would like to eat instead of just preparing stuff. I understand that the selections are sometimes limited but input is always nice. I hope that came across correctly and I'm definitely not complaining. I would use the Shida again. "
Quotes
“Some choices sometimes seem immutable at Lagoon: for example, the choice of working with VPLP architects, the world’s most successful naval architects in multihull racing, or that of fixed keels rather than daggerboards for simplicity, ease of beaching and safety in case of impact. However, each new Lagoon model offers often major innovations to make cruising even more enjoyable.” – Lagoon Yachts
“People more and more are realizing the advantage of the multi-hull platform for cruising. It’s stable, it offers a lot of space, and it goes fast” – “The success of a boat, of a design, is really tied to the relationship you have with a customer. The best yachts that we have designed were also nice human relationships. That’s been true since the beginning. When you get on very well with people, you feel better about what they really like, how they will sail, how they will enjoy the boat, and that proximity leads to a boat naturally that you like.” – Marc Van Peteghem (and Vincent Lauriot-Prévost) founded VPLP which is responsible for designing the world’s most innovative racing boats and largest luxury catamarans.
