The 74m/243ft CRN luxury charter yacht CLOUD 9 has received plenty of eyes on her since her launch at the start of the year, and with the approach of the Monaco Yacht Show in late September more details have come to light about her incredible contemporary interiors.

On the aft deck the stern seating overlooks the swimming pool below and the uninterrupted views make an excellent backdrop to a night of entertaining and conversation. Few details have been released about the interior layout and amenities of the luxury yacht, which will be one of the largest on display at the event. Exterior designer Tim Heywood was responsible for the outer living spaces aboard NEW SECRET, while the interior is the work of the owner’s requested designer, Winch Design.

With the end of September comes the end of the summer yacht season, marked by the spectacular Monaco Yacht Show where renowned yacht builders from across the world gather to display their latest and greatest luxury yacht builds.

Preliminary attendance has been announced and among the 125 unique superyachts are some of the most impressive and closely guarded builds of 2017: Both sailing yachts and motor yachts will be present at the Port Hercules event, and these top 10 luxury yachts over 30m/98ft are some of the most anticipated in recent years:

1. Andiamo – Baglietto

48m/157ft motor yacht ANDIAMO was launched in June and built for a Mexican owner and features the architecture of Margherita Casprini and an interior and exterior from Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Of the 350m² living spaces on board, the sundeck comprises an impressive 140m² with an infinity pool, an alfresco dining area serviced by a barbeque grill and bar, plus plenty of forward sunbathing.

The interiors are styled in lacquered ebony and onyx for a truly opulent environment, within which there is a cinema on the upper deck with two side terraces for spectacular views and increased indoor-outdoor flow.

2. Nerissa – Bilgin Yachts

The first hull in the Bilgin 156 series from Bilgin Yachts, superyacht NERISSA has a full-displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure and was completed following 23 months of construction. This 48m/156ft tri-deck yacht features the naval architecture of Unique Yacht Design and the interior styling talents of H2 Yacht Design.

Luxury yacht NERISSA does not yet have an owner and will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show to the press and to potential buyers.

Known as PROJECT SASHA up until her launch, 85m/280ft luxury yacht ARETI has been one of Lurssen‘s most secretive builds and features an interior and exterior by Winch Design.

Created for entertaining and relaxation throughout the journey, up to 18 guests will be treated to an impressive array of on board amenities that include a plunge pool, hammam, sauna and Jacuzzi pool as well as a spacious beach club with spa facilities for unwinding close to the water.

4. Seven – Perini Navi

60m/196ft aluminium Perini Navi sailing yacht SEVEN (ex.C2232) was announced in 2014 and launched in August 2017 under the name of SEVEN. Ron Holland designed her naval architecture, while Dante O. Benini & Partners completed her interior and exterior styling.

Following other 60m/196ft luxury yachts SEAHAWK and PERSEUS^3, she is expected to combine the same high performance with Perini Navi quality, efficiency and style. More details on this closely guarded build are expected to be released at the Monaco Yacht Show.

Launched at the start of 2017, CRN superyacht CLOUD 9 soon after joined the charter market in the Mediterranean where she remains open for the remainder of the summer season. Zuccon created her exterior styling while Winch Design created her bright and airy beach house environment.

Attracting attention for more than one reason, Heesen Yachts‘s 50m/164ft is the world’s first Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) motor yacht with hybrid propulsion. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and Cristiano Gatto created her sleek exterior profile and interior living spaces respectively, based on contemporary design trends that use a monochrome palette and numerous floor-to-ceiling windows to maximise views and naturally lit rooms.

The 54m/177ft silvery-white hull is a design by naval architects Judel/Vrolijk and Design Unlimited created her indoor living spaces, which play with texture to create eye-catching details. Among her features are two topside opening balconies, providing a greater connection to the sea and the nearby landscapes.

The new flagship and first in the 52Steel line of superyachts for Sanlorenzo, 52m/171ft motor yacht SEVEN SINS uses shape and texture within her minimalist design to create a sophisticated environment. One of her most striking features is a glass-bottomed pool that allows light through into the beach club below. Featuring the naval architecture of Zuccon and the interior and exterior styling of Winch Design, the 74m/243ft motor yacht was delivered in spring following its launch in January.

With a beam of 13.5m/44ft, the expansive lounges and deck spaces are ideal for hosting special events, while the accommodation sleep up to 16 guests or a maximum of 12 while on a charter. The crew quarters are designed for up to 22 crew members, while there are a further two cabins for staff members. One of the highly-anticipated deliveries of this season has taken place, with the 74-metre motor yacht AURORA having been handed over to her Owner, just in time for the summer holidays. Built by one of the most respected shipyards, Lurssen, with exterior and interior design by Winch Design, AURORA was created with immaculate perfection and attention to detail.

The delivery has taken place following her successful sea trials that concluded at the end of May in the Baltic Sea. She will soon leave for her maiden voyage with the Owners discovering the Mediterranean’s best yachting locations in the comfort and luxury of their new “home-away-from-home”.

The yacht was designed with intimacy in mind, incorporating many personal details and spaces, as desired by the Owners who are planning on cruising with their family. This is reflected throughout the entire vessel and all the decks.

The interior is inspired by the 1900s Art Deco era and important artists and designers from the same period. The accommodation includes a beautiful master suite, featuring antique artworks, while each guest cabins was designed with unique characteristics. One of the most significant and imposing areas aboard is the full-width sky lounge.

The owner of the yacht was heavily involved in the design and build process of the superyacht and Moran Yacht & Ship were involved as the owner’s project manager.

Italian shipbuilder CRN announced that the alluring 74-metre luxury superyacht Cloud 9 had been delivered. Launched in early 2017, this brand new motor yacht is now ready for charters in the Mediterranean.

She was designed and constructed by the team of the leading designers and engineers. Cloud 9 has naval architecture developed by CRN’s Technical Department, exterior profile drawn up by Studio Zuccon International Project and interior and exterior living areas by Winch Design.

A superb lever of comfort is offered onboard CRN luxury charter yacht cloud 9. There are six lavish cabins for accommodating 12 guests: an owner’s suite and five guest cabins. We applaud the triumph of Lurssen Yachts, as the 156m Mega Yacht Dilbar receives the “Motor Yacht of the Year” award at the 2017 World Superyacht Awards. The authorities of Boat International Media held the event this year in Florence, Italy. Perhaps, the most important event in the industry, WSA attracted the elite of the yachting world anticipated decisions of the judges selecting the best of the best yachts delivered in 2016. Dilbar also won in her category for “Displacement Motoryacht 3,000 GT and Above”. “One of the most complex and challenging yachts to be built”, as the judges described her, Dilbar is officially largest superyacht in the world in terms of gross tonnage. According to Lurssen, Dilbar’s gross tonnage is 15,917 tonnes, while her owner/guest area is of a very impressive size of 3,800 sqm.

Lurssen superyacht Aurora is now undergoing sea trials in Germany. This beautiful luxury vessel was launched a few weeks ago and scheduled for delivery by the end of 2017.

Bespoke yacht designers of Winch Design created Aurora’s interior and exterior. Her elegant living spaces are spanned over six decks. Built to Lloyd’s Registry standards, Aurora has a large interior volume which can be compared to the yachts of a larger size.

Aurora features accommodation for 16 guests and will be powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M63 engines for a top speed of 18 knots.

The main salon features pale wooden panelling throughout similar in colour to the rosy paint used on the limited edition hull. Vibrant orange accents draw the eye while matt and sheen textures playfully manipulate light in the environment.
