Thanks to the support of captains, crews, workers, customers, individuals and business partners, IPM Group and its facilities of STP, Marina Port de Mallorca as well as Marina Palma have raised more than 900 kilos of donations that were divided between AsociaciĂłn Zaqueo, La AsociaciĂłn Antiguos Alumnos de MontesiĂłn Solidarios and la FundaciĂłn Dexailles.
ECOsuperyacht has presented the latest additions to its range of products and services for 2013. The company has recently moved into new offices at STP-Palma and established ECOsuperyacht USA in Fort Lauderdale.
This year’s superyacht racing season will kick off with the Antigua Superyacht Challenge, that will start at the end of this month. There will once again be a highly anticipated Superyacht Cup Palma that will host such spectacular vessels as Perini Navi charter yacht P2.
Over the last weekend, more than 25 STP shipyard workers acted in concert with the firemen from Palma Fire & Rescue Service, as part of the fire drill, annually performed at the yard.
Taken place on December 13, the STP Christmas Paella Day was a great success. Attended by about 300 people, the event also raised funds for the Zaqueo Association, which operates a meals kitchen for the homeless.
With the aim of helping the most needy, IPM Group has started the solidary Christmas campaign “Operacion Kilo” in three of its facilities: Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Palma Cuarentena as well as STP Shipyard. It will last until December 20.

These include charter yachts Nostromo and Andromeda La Dea, as well as superyacht Gloria by Jongert. From October 2012, the company will also start working on the 1928 classic motor yacht Fair Lady.

RS Global (part of the Rolling Stock Group), with additional backing from investors including Palma Refit, are currently collaborating on the significant renovation project of the site formerly known as the “Grupo Guidet Building,” located within the STP shipyard. RS Global have been awarded the 12 year concession to manage the building, which will offer approximately 3,000 square meters of rentable workshop and office space on two floors, including a bar/restaurant.
Master Yachts have opened a refit management office in STP shipyard in the Port of Palma. This operations office expands Master Yachts’ presence in Palma and will be an onsite base for refit project managers as well as providing office and meeting facilities for Captains and crew of yachts in the port.
