Sunreef Yachts‘ newest launch, the 80 Sunreef Carbon Line sailing yacht Levante, has been officially presented at the Hilton Hotel in Gdansk, Poland. Superyacht Levante is currently going through sea trials, before her departure to the lovely summer yacht charter destination – South of France for this year’s Cannes Boat Show.

The superb sailing catamaran Levante yacht concept is based on light displacement of 45 tones, performance and speed. It is made of an advanced composite sandwich combining vinylester, PVC foam and carbon/glass fiber, with a carbon mast and boom. Standing rigging with Kevlar and total sail area is 340 m2. Her sleek and sporty exterior line was designed carefully to reduce windage and water resistance.

The 80 Sunreef Carbon Line Levante yacht is meant for fast sailing with easily reached 15 knots and maximum speeds on sails set for 20+ knots. Main sail and Genoa are made of Vectran while the Gennaker is made of Cuben Fiber, best materials available on the market for performance-oriented cruising yachts.
