World Debuts – the 28 Metre SuperYacht and the Predator 53 yacht (available to view on stand H102)

Sunseeker’s 28 Metre Yacht
This new design launches the next generation of the ‘Sunseeker’ Yacht look. The element most captivating is the remarkable extent of main deck glazing. Unusually full height and pillarless, the glazing flows continuously down the sides and around the rear of the saloon, merging with the aft patio doors. This new wrap around glazing gives the main deck accommodation a unique uninterrupted floor to ceiling panoramic view and an extraordinarily bright interior, bringing the outside in.

Just as this increases usability of the saloon throughout the day, particularly with the option of side doors and bulwark balcony, other external social areas on the foredeck and flybridge have been innovated with new sunpad and group seating formats. The large carbon fibre hard topped flybridge deck offers unrivalled room for enjoyment with a comparable increase in available space resulting in an area that can be tailored to suit every client’s needs. From spa tubs to extended sunpads, this area will have endless entertaining layouts to enjoy true al-fresco dining.

Every Sunseeker 28 Metre Yacht will be unique and tailored to specific customer requirements offering a breakthrough in interior layout and design with interior furnishings selected from the 2012 Sunseeker Collection of materials and linings, ensuring that the striking exterior design continues throughout the interior. Two individual stairways lead down to four equally well appointed and spacious suites, including up to two VIP double staterooms and a full-beam master stateroom. Each and every cabin incorporates the large window sets now synonymous with Sunseeker design.

Throughout, headroom and hull-side storage has been maximised demonstrating that modern design and practicality can go hand-in-hand. The completely new hull provides increased space whilst still capable of producing excellent performance speeds from a choice of engines, the final delight in a truly remarkable new craft.

Predator 53 yacht
The world launch of this stunning new model will take place on Friday 6th January at 11.45am. The new motor yacht Predator 53 may be the smallest in the Predator family; however she offers more interior space than most in her class whilst boasting a sharp, sporty and bold design.

Borrowing from other yachts in the Sunseeker range gives the Predator 53 motoryacht a pedigree all of its own. A sleek sporting profile, the use of modern carbon materials and an intuitive accommodation layout make this yacht a winner in all departments.

The main deck saloon area is split between two spacious social areas, incorporating an aft patio door closing the area off from the aft cockpit.  The saloon features a carbon sliding hardtop positioned above the helm and dinette seating area, bringing the outside in.

The lower deck accommodation comprises of three spacious cabins, two doubles and a twin, including an extensive fully fitted galley area. Fittings and equipment throughout the Predator 53 reflect the Sunseeker high standards approach with the adoption only of first class, from the finest fabrics to the latest navigation aids, whilst ensuring an ergonomic yet aesthetically pleasing helm.

Outside, the large aft cockpit with its generous seating area is available to customers in two configurations, depending on whether the client prefers a larger dedicated dining area or perhaps increased sunbathing space.

The teak planked hydraulic aft platform may sport a tender or jetbike for thrills, so just as the Predator 53 yacht joins the high performance line, it truly can still comfortably fulfil the role of a family yacht.

Benetti Classic 121´ Motor Yacht FF1 launched

December 07, 2011

The intense schedule of autumn launches and deliveries continues unabated at the Benetti shipyard. The technical launch of the new Benetti Classic 121’ FF1 motor yacht, a 37-metre superyacht was held just ten days after the ceremony to launch and deliver the new 61m Benetti Custom FB253 luxury yacht Diamonds Are Forever, which was held at the Livorno facility on Tuesday.

Benetti Classic 121´ motor yacht FF1

Benetti Classic 121´ motor yacht FF1

FF1 superyacht is a 37-metre semi-custom yacht made of composite materials, at the boatyard’s historic location in Viareggio, where today six yacht models in the Benetti Class line are built: motor yacht Delfino 93’, yacht Tradition 105’, Classic 121’, Classic Supreme 132’, Crystal 140’ and Benetti Vision 145’ superyacht.

In the presence of the owner, the architect, and the boatyard’s technical staff, the 37m superyacht FF1 was launched for the first time and transported to the mooring facility for completion of on-board work, sea trials, and technical inspections, all of which are necessary prior to final delivery to its owner.

Benetti 121´ FF1 Superyacht

Benetti 121´ FF1 Superyacht

The Classic 121’  yacht FF1 constitutes the iconic Benetti brand par excellence for semi-custom models, and more than ten years ago, it heralded the start of the success for the entire production line. And it’s also in line with the traditional exterior design, created by Stefano Righini in the model with the extended upper deck, a version already successfully tested during the season that just ended.

The sun-deck of the FF1 motor yacht is completely dedicated to relaxation and open-air life: a large bar zone was installed near the bow, including a barbecue together with an extendable table, which can function as both a tea table and a proper dining table. Moreover, a hardtop outfitted with a roll-bar cover and an LED lighting system along the ribbing ensures sun cover during the hottest hours of the day and perfect illumination during the evening hours.

The five-cabin layout of the motor yacht FF1 has the owner’s suite on the main deck, with a study and a dressing room located aft. Two separate bathrooms, his and hers, are located toward the bow. The spaces on the lower deck are arranged in a highly functional manner, with each of the four cabins (two VIP and two guest) offering enviable comfort in both the sleeping and bath areas.

The interior decor, inspired by a simple yet elegant modernity, was developed according to the owner’s specifications. He wanted to clothe his personal spaces for leisure and family life by playing with subtle variations between oak and leather for the furniture, accompanied by bar and galley tops in grey Silestone Amazon Leather with dominant brown tones and Leonardo stone for the bathrooms.

The on-board systems are furnished with the most modern Benetti technology and enable centralised management of all on-board electrical and electronic equipment. From the Quantum Zero speed stabilisers to the navigation wheelhouse – based on innovative integrated architecture – to the central entertainment system BEST (Benetti’s Exclusive Sea Technology). Using simple touch-screen monitors, it’s possible to manage all of the yacht’s functions: from the NavCom instrumentation to the boat systems, home automation, video surveillance, and satellite telecommunications.

121´ Super Yacht FF1

121´ Super Yacht FF1

The Classic 121’ FF1 motor yacht has a total length of 36.90 metres and maximum beam width of 8.18 metres. Displacement at full load is 259 tonnes; the boat has two MTU 12V2000 M72 engines with 1080 kW. Maximum speed is 15 knots, with cruising at 14 knots possible at 85% power. In addition, at a speed of 11 knots, the yacht has a range of 3,400 nautical miles.
