Successfully launched by Chantier Naval Couach in April, the beautiful La Pellegrina superyacht is the first 5000 Fly Couach yacht and the largest vessel ever built by this iconic French shipyard. Having started her charter season in July, the 50m charter yacht La Pellegrina is designed by Jean-Pierre Fantini and styled by Daniele Chopard. She will make her World Premiere at the next Cannes International Boat Show. The yard is already working on hulls no 2 and 3 of the 5000 Fly Couach vessels, due to be delivered in 2013 and 2014.

With her 500 square-metres habitable, the 50m superyacht La Pellegrina can sleep up to 12 guests in 6 amazingly luxurious cabins. The Owner cabin on the top deck provides a fantastic view and disposes of a private terrace deck, a white marble bathroom fitted with an Hammam and a vast dressing room. There is also a spacious lounge-dining room of 75m2 with full height glazed openings offering a spectacular sea view.

Luxury yacht La Pellegrina boasts the hull and superstructures both entirely built with a material inspired to the kevlar® qualities with carbon reinforcements. Her hull is the biggest piece ever moulded using the specific one piece infusion process.

La Pellegrina superyacht is fitted with the lastest generation of engines (2 x 5,300 hp) and mobilizes a record weight of only 296 tonnes for a unit of such a big size. Launched at full speed, she can achieve the record speed of 30 knots, unlike any seen on a boat of this size. At a cruising speed of 25 knots, La Pellegrina behaves with the same agility of a 20-metre yacht, even on rough seas.

Thanks to her lightness and to her singular hull design, the La Pellegrina yacht navigates with extraordinary conditions showing a minimal record consumption of 180 L/h at 12 knots. This economic cruising speed enables a complete transatlantic autonomy. Moreover, this splendid vessel integrates the most performing equipments for the waste water treatment. This way, she can navigate in protected sailing zones very strict towards discharges.
