February 13 saw the arrival of the breath-taking 162-metre motor yacht ECLIPSE in New York. The world’s largest and one of the most impressive vessels launched to date, mega yacht ECLIPSE will presumably remain in town through to April. The New York Harbour Webcam caught her arrival in the port as shown on the video below.



Delivered by the respected German shipyard Blohm + Voss in 2010, the 162-metre superyacht ECLIPSE was designed by Hermidas Atabeyki of Atabeyki Design Development. Her sophisticated exterior styling as well as lovely interior design are by bespoke Terence Disdale Design, in partnership with Greenline Yacht Interiors.

Blohm + Voss luxury yacht ECLIPSE provides beautiful and comfortable accommodation for an impressive number of 34 guests. There are 18 magnificent cabins, including a master cabin and 17 VIP cabins. In addition, ECLIPSE offers a wide selection of amenities, comprising the three-man leisure submarine, a 16-metre swimming pool with an adjustable depth feature that allows it to be converted into a dance floor, an exterior fireplace, six yacht tenders, accommodation for three helicopters, and many others.

Built in steel and aluminium, the dramatically beautiful 162,5-metre megayacht ECLIPSE is run by 4 powerful MTU 20V 1163 TB93 diesel engines, giving her a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots.
