Singapore Yacht Show 2015 to be attended by debuts and returning brands

Support for the next year’s edition of the Singapore Yacht Show continues to build, as 11 further companies have signed up in recent weeks to showcase their products as well as services. The event will be once again hosted by ONE°15 Marina Club, nestled in the fabulous Southeast Asia yacht charter destination – Singapore.

Many of the newly confirmed exhibitors are returning to the Show next year, however it will be the first time display at the Show for boat dealer Boatlab, marine stabiliser manufacturer Seakeeper and modern classic yacht builder Spirit Yachts (Asia).

The other recently confirmed names for the fifth edition of the Show are Aquila Yachts, Cigisped, Complete Marine Freight, Grand Banks, Hong Seh Marine, Multihull Solutions, Northrop & Johnson Asia and Riviera Australia. As the 2015 exhibitor list continues to swell, the occupied space on the water is also growing, with 65% of docks A to E now booked in. Set to exhibit at the Singapore Yacht Show for the first time in 2015, we look forward to welcoming sailing yacht builder Spirit Yachts (Asia). Over the last 20 years, Spirit Yachts has developed a reputation for building stunning modern classing sailing yachts that respect traditional aesthetics while pushing the envelope in construction techniques for lightweight and strong wooden yachts. Spirit Yachts offers a range of existing designs for vessels from 37ft (11.3m) and a fully custom design service for vessels from 60ft (19.8m) to 150ft (45.7m). This year Spirit Yachts (Asia) is opening its first presence in the region with a Hong Kong premises overlooking Hong Kong Harbour, complemented by a Spirit 52 vessel as a showboat on location.

Active gyro stabiliser technology experts Seakeeper will be making their debut at the Singapore Yacht Show next year. The company will be returning once more to display a range of vessels during the 2015 edition of the Singapore Yacht Show. Multihull Solutions is the exclusive distributor of Fountaine Pajot and Catana Catamarans in South East Asia. It also represents Sunreef Yachts, TAG Yachts, NEEL Trimarans and Privelège Catamarans in the region. The company has been promoting the debut of the Privelège 615 sailing catamaran recently. One of the largest boat dealerships in Singapore, representing many prestigious brands from around the globe, at the 2014 edition of the Show Hong Seh Marine presented vessels from Riva, Ferretti, Pershing and Cranchi. The company will be returning once more next year to show its impressive range of comfortable and stylish luxury yachts. Having experienced a strong reception from past years exhibiting at the Singapore Yacht Show, Riviera Australia has confirmed it will be returning to display at the fifth edition in 2015. The highly acclaimed and popular boat builder has crafted over 5,000 vessels in its 34-year history, which are enjoyed by their owners in over 60 countries. The Riviera boating family includes two distinct ranges, the recently launched marque Belize Motoryacht Collection and the Riviera range, which has three model series’: the Flybridge, the Sport Yacht and the SUV Collection. At the end of this month, Riviera will be launching its new ‘flagship’ 6000 Sport Yacht. With sleek external styling and a solid, robust hull, the 6000 Sport Yacht is perfect for convivial activities on the water, featuring an aft galley with awning window that opens onto the generous cockpit with GRP fiberglass sunroof and provides seating for indoor and outdoor entertainment. Producing innovative and exciting purebred power catamarans, the Aquila Yachts range of vessels between 11.6m (38ft) and 14.6m (48ft) have design inspiration from Europe, America and Asia. Having been established in 2012 as the result of the partnership between builder Sino Eagle Group and MarineMax, the world’s largest powerboat dealer. The expanding range consists of the Aquila 38, Aquila 48 and most recently launched Aquila 44. Having exhibited at the Show for the first time in 2014, Aquila Yachts will be returning to the show next year.

With a strong following in Asia, head office and construction at Grand Banks Yachts is based on Singapore’s West Coast. The company’s fast cruiser and trawler vessels, which range from 13m to 23m across three series, will be returning to the Singapore Yacht Show in 2015.

Northrop & Johnson will be returning to the Show once more in 2015. The company has a strong presence across the globe, linking yachting centres in the Americas and Europe with Asia Pacific. Northrop & Johnson Asia was founded in 2009 by Bart Kimman, with a focus on yacht sales, yacht charters and yacht management of vessels of 20m (65ft) or more. With a strong presence throughout Asia Pacific, Northrop & Johnson Asia covers 10 countries in the region with a team of experienced expert brokers.

Cigisped is an internationally recognized freight-forwarding organisation that specializes in the transportation of yachts. The company will also be returning to display at the fifth edition of the Show next year. Having started out in Genoa, Italy, the company has grown over the last 20 years to include offices in the US (Miami), Spain (Barcelona), the Middle East (Dubai) and, most recently, Singapore. Cigisped runs weekly departures for boat transport from the Mediterranean to Dubai and from Dubai to the Far East and Australias (as well as the return legs).

Having announced the intention to open offices in Asia at the 2014 edition of the Singapore Yacht Show, Complete Marine Freight has now opened its premises in Hong Kong headed up by boat-shipping expert Charles Massey.
