You can be sure to receive a warm welcome wherever you sail on your Greece yacht charter, thanks to the combination of renowned Greek hospitality, friendliness, sunshine and warm weather. Greece covers a very expansive territory in general, however yacht charters in Greece can be divided into four main areas: The Ionian Islands, The Aegean & Sporades, The Cyclades and The Dodecanese. All of these destinations offer unique and breath taking destinations, plenty of history, natural beauty and rich culture.
One of the spectacular places to visit when on a Ionian Islands yacht charter is the Smuggler’s Cove, which can only be accessed by sea at Zakinthos and is one of the most famous and stunning beaches in Greece. There is also the Blue Grotto – another spectacle of the ocean. For those looking to charter a yacht in a less crowded greek destination, Aegean & Sporades could be the best choice, particularly those interested in history, culture and art.
The Cyclades are great for both culture as well as hedonistic pursuits. There are plenty of ancient sites, museums, but also lively night clubs, great restaurants, shopping and of course famous beaches. The most southerly group of islands in the Southern Sporades is The Dodecanese, offering quite a variety of options. You will be greeted by rustic, rugged landscapes, clear blue ocean stretches and perhaps less touristy destinations than the Cyclades or other parts of the Greek Islands.
Still one of the most sought-after yachting holiday destinations, Greece offers a huge amount of activities to do and places to see as well as the relative close proximity of everything by water. There are numerous itineraries you can choose from that will be tailored to your own requirements by our professional brokers. Feel free to contact us for more information on the different yachts available in this area or general information on yacht charter, if this is your first time. Our team is here to help you to choose the best sailing yacht or motor yacht to suit your needs, offering a wide range of luxury vessels from smaller sailing yachts, catamarans, motoryachts to ultra-luxurious mega yachts.
