Rossinavi Diesel Electric yacht ENDURANCE 50 (FR032) will be presented at this month’s EU Sustainable Energy Week 2015, running from June 15 to 19. The event will feature a seminar, illustrating the technical solution implemented in the 50-metre motor yacht ENDURANCE 50.
Titled “Diesel-electric technology, from cruise ships to yachts – how to optimise energy utilisation on board”, the seminar will illustrate the reasons for making diesel-electric propulsion systems for vessels destined for long-range cruising around the globe. The first vessel with this kind of propulsion hit the water in 1903. This system is starting to be implemented for vessels between 500 and 2000 gross tons (GT) only now. The workshop will unveil the various technologies applied to a vessel to optimise energy production as well as management.

ENRICO GOBBI by T4D:
The generous full-beam owner’s suite forward to the weather deck enjoys plenty of light and a wonderful panorama thanks to the long windows along the two main sides and an unusual private balcony. The exterior areas of the Endurance 50 make various configuration possible, including an exclusive sun area forward, placed over the wide garage. The outside dining area is on the upper deck, while the cockpit is furnished with luxurious sunbed close to a panoramic custom pool on aft.
