The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) communicated today the second annual Dealer Connections, held on February 16-20, at the 2012 Progressive Insurance Miami international Boat Show and Strictly Sail – an initiative for dealers and manufacturers to build new distribution relationships and business. More than 70 yacht manufacturers took part in Dealer Connections’ inaugural year, and the 2012 show is coming with the program for manufacturers to support their networking reach for dealers.
“The Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail brings together key leaders from across the recreational boating industry, making it the ideal location for Dealer Connections – a program that presents a rare opportunity for dealers and manufacturers to position themselves for growth,” said Thom Dammrich, president of NMMA. “Retail new yacht sales are up in 2011 and should continue to improve in 2012. Dealer Connections can help prepare participants to take advantage of increases in consumer spending on yachting by forging new business partners.”
Dealer Connections is a once-a-year occasion allowing dealers across the nation to meet with top decision makers from the world’s leading brands; schedule meetings with manufacturers with easy-to-use appointment software; find more brands than in any other single location, with more than 2,000 motor yachts and sailing yachts on display; and test drive brands and models on the open water.
