M/Y PROJECT ELECTRA is the second 50m/164ft vessel from the 5000 Hybrid class with her Fast Displacement Hull Form and hybrid diesel and electric propulsion.
Based on the previous award-winning hull, superyacht HOME (YN 17850), PROJECT ELECTRA improves upon her sistership with the latest technological innovations for even greater performance and efficiency. In addition, the hybrid engine is quieter and more fuel efficient than a traditional diesel engine to make her even more beneficial to her owner.
The naval architecture comes courtesy of Van Oossanen Naval Architects while the exterior styling is the work of Omega Architects. The interior comes from Cristiano Gatto with accommodation to sleep six guests over 12 en-suite cabins with five cabins for a crew of nine.
Twin MTU 12V 2000 M61 engines produce a top speed of 16.3 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots with a range of 3,750 nautical miles.
Luxury yacht PROJECT ELECTRA is expected to be ready for delivery in April 2020.
