JFA Yachts is proud to announce that charter yacht WindQuest has been chosen as one of the finalists in the International Superyacht Society Design Awards 2014. Long Island 85 sailing yacht WindQuest will compete in the ‘Sail 24-40m’ category. The gala evening will take place in the lovely Florida yacht charter destination – Fort Lauderdale on October 29, 2014.

Designed by Marc Lombard, superyacht WindQuest was delivered in May 2014. This fast cruising catamaran is the first of a semi-custom “Long Island” series. The hulls are aluminium-built while the deck is in composite material.

WindQuest yacht can accommodate up to 8 guests with 4 crew’s members. The main cabin is “must-have” on the Long Island 85! Stretching across the full beam of the yacht, this exceptionally large suite offers a superb view on 180°, never seen before on a sailing or even on a motor yacht of this size.

WindQuest superyacht had her maiden voyage in southern Britany sailing along the coasts of the English Channel and of the Atlantic between London and Lisbon before heading for the West Indies in October. This superyacht is available for charter and is scheduled to be in Europe and the West Indies the first two years, then in North America around the Great Lakes and in the West Indies the 3rd year.
