The Mangusta GranSport line from Overmarine Group has received excellent praise from industry professionals and Owners alike, and now the shipyard has extended the range with the superyacht MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33.

The series was brought back into the spotlight at the start of the year when 54m/177ft luxury yacht EL LEON took Best Interior Design – Motor Yachts 300GT to 499GT at the Boat International Design and Innovation Awards 2019. The sporty all-aluminium fast displacement hull was a beautiful modern design, however the interior layout and decor customised by the Owner, complete with specially-selected woods and finishes, and a layout that was changed to include a private office and gym.

The more compact MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 encapsulates everything that has made previous hulls so successful while benefiting from design and construction experience to improve further on the series: Designer Alberto Mancini was given the brief of a strong and elegant profile for the new GranSport motor yacht, combined with a minimalist interior in balance with the exterior spaces to make the most of life in the Mediterranean sunshine. The result is a stylish addition to the series that features the distinctive Mangusta DNA.

The exterior provides a spacious shaded cockpit for alfresco dining and outdoor lounging, while the foredeck hosts the main sunbathing area with a broad sunbed and Jacuzzi where guests can relax after an alfresco meal at the plush sofa and elevated table. A final outdoor guest space can be found on the flybridge, which is furnished with a lounge, bar and sunbathing area.

Inside, the Master suite is placed on the main deck forward to take advantage of the full-beam and greater natural lighting available through larger glazed surfaces, including several high ceiling windows, two of which can be opened to let in the fresh air and ambient sounds of the location. Also on the main deck, the galley behind leads directly into the salon for efficient service to diners and loungers. Below, the lower deck hosts four more guest cabins and Owners have several options to pick from to suit their needs.

The onboard entertainment systems and engineering are also top notch, meeting IMO Tier III and EPA Tier 3 emission standards. Quadruple Volvo Penta D13 1000 IB 735kW engines producing 1,000 HP each at 2400rpm are coupled with four Volvo Penta IPS pod mod. 1350 for excellent power with a maximum speed of 26 knots while also ensuring reduced vibrations and noiselessness for guest comfort while cruising day or night.

The shallow draft of 1.9m/6.23ft affords the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 close beach access and the ability to navigate shallow waterways, and she has excellent stability whether cruising or at anchor due to four fin stabilisers.

The MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 is currently on display at the new showroom along Miami Beach, and construction has begun on the first hull which is due for delivery in 2020.
