The currently running 22nd edition of the Dubai International Boat Show is set to close with a bang tomorrow, on March 8. Visitors have thus the last chance to experience some of the world’s finest yachts, exclusive automobiles, small and mid-sized crafts, prize giveaways, live entertainment, as well as family-friendly activities.

With some of the world’s most luxurious superyachts on showcase at the stunning Marina Display, and more than 430 boats on display and over 750 exhibiting companies and brands, The Dubai International Boat Show, running from 4 – 8 March 2014 at Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi continues to be the leading marine exhibition in the region, with a number of stunning launches, great deals and exciting activities taking place.

Piquing great visitor interest is the mega yacht Nirvana and superyacht Quattroelle, two of the show’s largest-ever superyachts located in the stunning outdoor Marina Display Area on the Dubai waterfront. The 88.5-metre-long Nirvana, built by Oceanco and exhibited by Edmiston, features two helipads, a 3D cinema, and performance stage. The 88-metre-long Quattroelle, built by Lürssen and Moran Yacht & Ship, and designed by Nuvolari-Lenard, features five decks, a gym designed by sprinter Usain Bolt, and full spa.

The Supercar Promenade returns for a fourth year running, with a dazzling array of world-class marques showcasing the fastest, newest and most innovative vehicles from powerhouse high-end motoring manufacturers such as McLaren, Bentley and Mercedes, and modified automobile specialists.

Returning this year is the Retail Village, focused on nautical retail products such as swimwear, nautical footwear, watches and accessories, as well as DMEX, which showcases the latest in diving equipment, regional dive centres and international dive destinations.

With exciting Visit-and-Win promotions – including 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil semi-final and final tickets –up for grabs, the 2014 Dubai International Boat Show is expecting to attract more than 26,000 visitors from more than 70 countries across the globe.

The Dubai World Trade Centre, which organises the event, has made it easier than ever to attend the show, thanks to convenient public transportation options. Visitors can take RTA water taxis or shuttle buses from parking in Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi: Gateway Towers at the entrance to Palm Jumeirah (shuttle buses), Al Sufouh Beach Parking opposite Dubai Knowledge Village (shuttle buses and water taxis), Dubai Marina Mall (shuttle buses), SkyDive Dubai (shuttle buses and water taxis). Shuttle buses are also available from the Nakheel and Dubai Marina Metro Stations.

The Dubai International Boat Show is open to trade visitors and the general public from 3pm to 9:30pm daily. General admission is AED60 per person for all attendees, while children under 12 will be admitted free of charge (they must be accompanied by an adult at all times). Access to the Marina Display Area may be restricted at certain times.
