UK based bespoke interior and exterior yacht specialist, Contechs Marine has appointed Karis Ward as Sales and Marketing Executive, effective 1st September. The newly created role includes marketing activity surrounding upcoming boat show attendance and coincides with the company’s expansion into the superyacht and refit sector.

Karis will report to Head of Sales & Marketing at Contechs Marine, Julia Tyrrell who comments on the appointment: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Karis to the team. She will certainly ‘hit the ground running’, providing stand support at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and METS in November. Karis will also be involved in the future development of our stands and key marketing materials, as well as liaising with show organisers and attendance at future international shows and various seminars.”

As Sales and Marketing Executive, Karis will be responsible for general sales and marketing support, including new business development. With a legal education background, Karis will also assist in raising and issuing legal proposals and documentation, and quotations.

Contechs Marine has a strong interior design background and is the marine arm of Contechs which operates in the high-end automotive market, providing interior design for brands such as Bentley and Jaguar. Contechs Marine has been working within the luxury boatbuilding sector for six years, helping to bring designs to life whilst keeping in style with the yacht’s intended specification and layout. In addition to its extensive interior and exterior outfitting and project management services, the company’s specialist in-house team provides installation support and training to support yards throughout the entire build.
