35m/115ft luxury yacht SPIRIT from New Zealand Yachts is now available for charter to the Great Barrier Reef, the Whitsundays and the Soloman Islands. Built in 2005 and refitted in 2016, her beam of almost 11m/35ft creates additional space normally associated with yachts of 45m in length.

Her styling was completed by Ken Freivokh, whom has a prestigious reputation designing interiors for superyachts MALTESE FALCON, LEOPARD III and QUITE ESSENTIAL amongst others. Capable of a cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 24 knots, she is a perfect vessel for visiting more than one location and for spending less time in transit.

Luxury yacht SPIRIT – Main salon and formal dining area

The sophisticated main salon and dining room interior uses warm wooden tones to create vibrant surroundings that are balanced by silver and grey tones with a hint of cool blues. The formal dining table is located beside the port-side windows and tall island credenza fitted with a widescreen TV adds a sense of separation from the rest of the main salon without reducing the sense of space. On the starboard side, plush sofas surround a bespoke coffee table that adds contemporary detailing to the section with its polished surface and textural finish.

Sliding doors open out onto the main deck aft, where sheltered seating runs down each side of the yacht for guests to gather together and mingle. Guests may choose to dine alfresco on this deck, or head down the transom which lowers to become a beach area and swim platform.

The pilothouse is located forward of the upper deck, with the full beam Master suite to the centre and a private lounge and study attached. The upper deck aft is generous with its seating and there are sunpads and an outdoor table on the foredeck to treat whichever guests take this floor as their own.

Afternoons and evenings filled with entertainment will be spent on the sundeck, which has views of the Australian landscape unrivalled anywhere else on board. Watch for passing sea turtles and vibrant jellyfish in the crystalline waters of the Whitsundays, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or watch the clouds drift by on the sunpads whilst you sip on a cocktail from the sundeck bar.

Superyacht SPIRIT has an excellent selection of water toys, and her toy chest contains a kitesurfer, a wakeboard, a kneeboard, scuba diving equipment, snorkelling equipment and fishing equipment.

The on board accommodation will provide for a maximum of 10 guests over 5 comfortable cabins: 1 Master suite, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. A crew of 7 will provide everything your guests need for an enjoyable and relaxing charter aboard this spacious yacht, and a dive master and kiteboarding instructor as part of the crew will give guests the opportunity to do even more on their charter.
