The prestigious Italian luxury yacht builder, CRN, is proud to announce that its Chairman and CEO, Lamberto Tacoli, has been honoured with the “Yacht Capital Award”. Organised by the specialized magazine Yacht Capital, the traditional evening of the Yacht Capital Awards 2013 was hosted by the historical premises of the Italian Yacht Club in Genoa.

An event that since 1990, when the magazine was founded, takes place at the Genoa Boat Show, representing an important acknowledgement for all those involved in the Italian boating scene, who have distinguished themselves by their achievements and excellence in their field of action.

The award organizers said: “Fifty years ago in Ancona, a company was set up, which would later contribute to the credibility and the sustainability of today’s ‘Made in Italy’, especially when it comes to the high-end sector of the market, in which our shipbuilding industry leads the sector. From the 20 metre Super Conero to the 80 metre superyacht Chopi Chopi half a century of history called CRN has passed by, and we are rewarding it by assigning the Yacht Capital Award 2013 to Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman and CEO, representing it.”

The President of the Italian Yacht Club, Carlo Croce also gave a speech at the ceremony. CRN attended the 53rd Genoa Boat Show with the 80m megayacht “Chopi Chopi”, guest of honour and flagship of the event.
